Re: For Many Veterans, the Vietnam War Never Ended
“It is astounding that Nixon is rarely credited with ending the Vietnam War, Peace With Honor, as he and Kissinger overcame efforts by Hanoi John and George McGovern to dishonor all who served. During media interviews with North Vietnamese generals, they knew they would get what they wanted because of the anti-war turmoil in our country. I asked one of my Vietnam veteran patients ahead of a military parade if he was going to join other Vietnam vets. He said, ‘I’ll never forgive the American people for what they did to us.’” —Minnesota
“This was a very fitting tribute to my fellow Viet Nam vets by a fellow East Tennesseean. I appreciated both Alexander’s clear devotion to an earlier generation of veterans and his personal account of what he recalled about the war when a child.” —Tennessee
Re: Fighting Racism With Racism Is Racist
“Freedom of religion is also important for dealing with bad ideas such as racism and Marxist classism; God’s word enables people to recognize and rebuke such evils. Every Christian should be able to point to Genesis and say with the apostle Paul, ‘He has made us all of one blood,’ and from Romans proclaim, ‘All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.’ Therefore, racism insults Him who died ‘once for all.’” —Minnesota
Re: A Tribute to My Mother: Faith, Family, and Love
“Patrick, thanks for your heartfelt tribute to your mother! My own saintly mother sacrificed so much to raise 10 children, teaching us by her daily example to cherish our Catholic faith and the blessings we had to be born in the United States of America.” —Minnesota
Re: Are Toxic Mom Influencers Ruining Women’s Choices?
“The main problem is too many people who can’t form opinions without having them curated for them in a social media echo chamber — and boom. Influencers! So, too, is the choice of how much a spouse will or won’t do for the other. It’s really not that hard to find equilibrium … unless you’re a self-absorbed nutball influencer obsessed with your own self-importance. In which case, you’re probably too far gone to salvage.” —Oklahoma
“Why didn’t Bret Baier ask Bernie Sanders about all the billionaire donors that Democrats have? Or about all the billionaires that made out like bandits from the money Barack Obama gave to wind and solar companies, over half of which filed for bankruptcy while owners lined their own pockets?” —Minnesota
“As the Left desperately tries to spin against the acquittal of the five black police officers in the death of Tyre Nichols, they are finding ‘systemic racism’ in the presiding judge’s decision to draw the all-white jury from outside of the Memphis area, where the jury pool had been hopelessly tainted by the protests that followed the incident. It is worth noting that like the policemen, the judge is black.” —Georgia
Re: California DEI Ethnic Studies Still in Place
“Like Biden, Governor Newsom is another failure playing to the unbalanced audience of indoctrinated liberals. In my experience, I have yet to encounter an individual who will admit to have casting a vote for him. I trust that the Trump administration will see to not contributing American tax dollars to the further radicalizations of liberalism.” —Georgia
Re: Trump’s First Trade Domino Falls
“ANY commerce with China is monies sent to a regime determined to cause the destruction of America and the enslavement of the free and democratic world. Boycotting China is America’s best weapon, short of war, to dismantling this evil force.” —Georgia
Re: What Can We Expect From Pope Leo XIV?
“It’s ironic that Pope Francis, and now Pope Leo XIV, have virtue-signaled their grave concern for the poor in Latin and South America, have criticized Trump and Vance for protecting the sovereignty of their country through mass deportation of illegal immigrants, and yet hypocritically have done absolutely nothing to chastise the Marxist leaders in Latin and South America who created the deplorable conditions that forced people to flee their rule in the first place. Saint Pius X, pray for us!” —Kentucky
Re: Profiles of Valor: SGM Thomas Patrick Payne
“Yet another outstanding profile of a true American Patriot! Thank you, Patriot Post, for honoring the service of those who have earned it!” —Arizona
