“The Cincinnati mayor and chief of police are DEI hires who, in typical fashion, blame the victims, not the perps, for fear of inciting more black violence.”

Re: Them Demos Done Dug a Deep Hole

“It’s astounding that Van Jones could get this so right, and chastising his fellow mainstream media talkingheads took courage. One can only hope the Democrats are forever stuck in the hole they have dug.” —New York

“The First and Second Rule of Holes that Alexander cited are spot on. The Third Rule of Holes: ‘Eventually the hole collapses and you’re buried.’” —California

“Carville definitely found an acorn! The Democrats have now perfected a very sophisticated level of ‘jackassery,’ and all indications are that they are not going to stop. What we are now desperately in need of is a cathartic tsunami to roll through the brains of their simpleminded supporters, as well as treatment to liberate the vast collection of poor souls inflicted with TDS.” —North Carolina

Re: How Bad Is the Dems’ Polling?

“Over the years, the Democrats have consistently, and predictably, gone about their business via two basic modes. 1) When they are in control, they do nothing except destroy the achievements of the previous administration and the lives of those who were in office. And when they are not tearing down, they promote and produce nothing for the common good while cheerleading for all that is godless and reprobate. 2. When the opposition is in control, repeat Step 1 and then pile on with hate, petulant behavior, and simpleminded ignorance. If they defy the proven law of gravity long enough, they will, sooner or later, end up in a deafening crash!” —North Carolina

Re: It’s Not Just a ‘Cincinnati Problem’

“I’ve lived in Cincinnati for nearly 50 years. Cincinnati was once called ‘the Paris of the West.’ Now, thanks to decades of Democrat rule, it’s an unsafe, overtaxed, filthy city. The mayor and chief of police are DEI hires who, in typical fashion, blame the victims, not the perps, for fear of inciting more black violence.” —Ohio

“This jazz festival has been around for decades, showcasing black musicians and attracting a mostly black audience. And for as long as it has been going on, our business office in the area has closed early for safety. It was reported that many restaurants and bars closed for the weekend due to racism. Not so, countered the business owners — it was due to brawling, walkouts, and assaults on their employees coming and going.” —Ohio

Re: The Status of the Navy: Part I

“I’m reminded of the saying of some high-ranking Confederate officer about the winner being the side that got there ‘the first-est with the most-est.’ That applies to all of our Armed Forces, but the quickest responder to trouble around the world is likely to be the U.S. Navy, followed by the Air Force and Army.” —Oklahoma

Re: Should We Be Concerned About America’s Declining Birthrate?

“People often act like sheep, so when brainwashed ‘educated sisters’ talk about how happy they are to be single, it slowly takes over the mentality of even young women. By the time these women realize they are not happy, it’s too late — and nobody likes to admit that they were wrong. You cannot have a population of leftist women and conservative men and expect to have a high marriage rate without a high divorce rate. Karl Marx wanted the state to own the children, not the family. The Left has been successful in destroying institutional marriage. Let us also not forget welfare, which is the poison pill of women getting married. Conclusion: Single women with children means poverty, and poverty means the state controls the family.” —California

“I don’t expect to collect near what I paid into Social Security during my working life. How did the government squander our money? How about feeding Social Security with all the money the government gives to other countries and illegals. Or does the government prefer screwing those who worked to fund our country?” —Michigan

“Has there ever been a generation more unfair to its successors? We are passing a massive national debt to the next generation, but we are not raising enough of the next generation to shoulder the burden they did not request, much less vote upon. Thomas Jefferson’s observation is a condemnation: ‘The principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.’” —Minnesota

Re: Tackling Homelessness With Common Sense

“It seems that the problems are always in Democrat states, yet they are the first ones to complain when someone tries to find a solution to their problems. Over and over again we see how giving people things makes them dependent upon the good nature of others. Maybe the answer is, Get a job or starve. If they set up a tent on the street, tear it down and put it in the dump.” —Illinois

“Yes, let’s have the federal government do for homelessness what it has done for the economy, housing, education, healthcare, etc.: unconstitutional appropriation of funds for unconstitutional oversight of unconstitutional grants for unconstitutional purposes. The federal government is the source of the problem; it cannot fix itself. We, the American people, must elect better public servants at the federal, state, and local levels in order to resolve the issue of homelessness.” —Kentucky

“One of the worst things that state governors did was close long-term psychiatric hospitals. This allowed seriously ill persons to wander aimlessly throughout our streets, harming themselves and innocent citizens. Trump is doing the right thing, the best thing, by restoring those facilities.” —Pennsylvania

Re: NYPD Officer Murdered in Mass Shooting Leaves Behind Pregnant Wife, Two Kids

“The key word here is ‘deranged.’ Liberals are responsible for the closing of long-term psychiatric hospitals, which has led to deranged, truly mentally ill persons roaming our city streets. They are an extreme danger to themselves and innocent persons. These mass shootings are perpetrated by very mentally ill persons, all of whom had a long list of red flags and should have been locked up some time ago.” —Pennsylvania

Re: ‘FAFO Parenting’ Sees a Resurgence

“I often cite the word of God as the ultimate ‘authoritative parenting’ guide. Here are just a few Scriptures that capture this theme: ‘Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.’ (Proverbs 22:6) ‘He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.’ (Proverbs 13:24) ‘Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.’ (Ephesians 6:1-3) Who knows the path we should take better than the God who made us?” —North Carolina
