It was intended to say that the government will not interfere with religion. “So, SCOTUS might begin the process of starting to think about perhaps ensuring that voting officials follow the law? Perhaps they can start preparing to think about maybe declaring that the 14th Amendment doesn’t mean anyone can crawl under the border fence, pop out a baby, and that baby’s a citizen. Or perhaps that it’s a bad idea for district court judges to have de facto power over the entire executive branch. One can hope.
