Connecticut’s ‘Ammunition Certificate’
As of Oct. 1, it’ll be required for the purchase of ammo.
Earlier this year, Connecticut Democrat Gov. Dan Malloy signed anti-gun legislation passed in the post-Sandy Hook panic. As of tomorrow, Oct. 1, individuals over 18 will be required to submit to a background check and pay a $35 fee for an “ammunition certificate” that they will need to buy ammunition and magazines. The certificate must be renewed after five years.
As with all of these tragedy-exploiting laws, the effect will be to punish law-abiding citizens for the sins of a psychopath.
