‘It’s More Complicated to Be a Liberal’
According to MSNBC pinhead Chris Matthews, “It’s more complicated to be a liberal.” Why? Because, unlike conservatives, liberals – cough – think. “To be conservative, you simply have to say, ‘Look, commonsense says segregate these people [in Africa] off from us – leper colony – keep away!’ On the Democratic side, I think there is sort of an implicit kind of sympathy – why do we want to do that to people?” Really, Matthews? Au contraire, it’s liberals’ exploitation of emotions – few people can think rationally in the immediate aftermath of tragedy – and knee-jerk reactions that define today’s Democrat Party. The Left has mastered the art of PR campaigning, in which ill-advised policies are shoved down everyone’s throats in the name of “safety.” It’s all part of an agenda to bring America’s stature down on par with the rest of the world and to foster statism. But back to the issue of Ebola, let’s consider a travel ban with some critical thinking. Presume your neighbor catches the flu; would it make sense to invite them over for a party? If you answer, “Yes, because we must share the illness equally,” then you must be a liberal.
