Paper Tiger Foreign Policy Drawing Ire of Leftmedia
How bad is Barack Obama’s foreign policy? Bad enough to prompt increasingly negative commentary from Leftmedia fanboys. After 21 Coptic Christians from Egypt were beheaded by ISIL over the weekend, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews said, “We need a route that takes us to a destroyed ISIS, because the alternative is too sick, too un-American, too un-human. We can’t see people killed like this in our face and simply flip to the sports page or the financial news or what’s at the movies or who’s going to win the Oscars and act like America, our country, is not being morally humiliated.” Matthews explained the persecuted “have to be wondering if there’s any chance the people in the United States could be coming to their rescue. Because that’s how we were taught that we conduct ourselves. We don’t leave people behind.” Sadly, that’s what we’ve become thanks to Barack Obama’s leading from behind. Ed Schultz is likewise irritated. “I think this act of mass murder amounts to a religious war,” he asserted. “We can’t sit back here and watch hordes of people get their heads cut off. And why would we tell ISIS there’s no way we would ever put ground troops in combat situations?” Good points all, but, sadly, ones ISIL’s many victims wish had been brought up far sooner.
