Uh Oh: Hillary Aide to Plead the Fifth

Another sign of a Joe Biden run?

Looking for another sign that Joe Biden is going to run for president? A former State Department staffer plans to plead the Fifth on his involvement in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. Fox News reports, “Bryan Pagliano, who worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign before helping install the so-called ‘homebrew’ server system in her Chappaqua, N.Y. home, was asked to testify about the server by the House Select Committee on Benghazi, the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the Senate Homeland Security Committee.” However, his attorneys informed the committees that he will take the liberty of avoiding self-incrimination. To be sure, he has that right, and he is also innocent until proven guilty. But it prompts the old “if he’s got nothing to hide” question. Did Pagliano have specific knowledge of what was on Hillary’s server? Did he contribute to her almost certain law breaking? One thing is certain: He wouldn’t be pleading the Fifth and Hillary wouldn’t be in trouble if that server hadn’t been used to conduct State Department business, including sending classified emails.
