The Reason Some Won’t Watch the NFL This Season
It’s become clear that the NFL has an infestation of anti-Americanism.
It’s become clear that the National Football League has an infestation of anti-Americanism. And it has neither the courage nor the backbone to eradicate the infestation. So let’s consider the facts: The NFL is a business. The players are employees. And the field is their place of employment. The NFL has a right to demand certain behavior from its employees while they are on the clock. That’s why it stopped the Dallas Cowboys from honoring five slain police officers. That’s why it threatened to fine players for wearing cleats in memory of the 9-11 victims.
So it’s very clear there are rules and regulations the players and coaches must follow. But when it comes to players who hate on America, the NFL turns the other way. It’s a dirty double standard. So that’s why I’ve decided not to watch any NFL games this season. I’ve also decided not to do business with its vendors or sponsors. I don’t want my hard-earned money being used to finance a bunch of ungrateful pinheads.
And the next time one of its blowhard billionaire owners wants to build a shiny new stadium, let them ask Black Lives Matter for a handout — because the American taxpayers are sick and tired of footing the bill for a bunch of overgrown, anti-American cry-babies. If you want to disrespect America, do it on your own dime, not mine.
