MTV Writer Slams Sessions’ Granddaughter
You can often tell the measure of a man by his words and deeds.
The political lynching of Sen. Jeff Sessions took an ugly turn on Capitol Hill when an MTV writer and personality attacked the Alabama senator’s granddaughter. “Sessions, sir, kindly return this Asian baby to the Toys ‘R’ us you stole from her,” Ira Madison III wrote on Twitter. Mr. Madison is a culture writer for MTV news and co-hosts a podcast.
Fortunately, both the Left and the Right were outraged over the MTV employee’s vile posting. Mr. Madison eventually deleted the tweet, but did not apologize for using a little girl to score a few cheap political points. “I often tell jokes, but seeing as bringing up Sessions’ history of racial hatred of Asians is seen as an attack on his grandchild, I deleted,” he tweeted. You can often tell the measure of a man by his words and deeds. Clearly, Mr. Madison is a man of short intellectual and moral stature.
