One year ago, Barack Obama commuted the sentence of Army Private First Class Bradley “Chelsea” Manning. As our readers recall, Manning, who is pathologically gender-confused, was convicted of espionage for funneling 750,000 classified documents to WikiLeaks. He served less than four years of his already-light 35-year sentence.

That wasn’t good enough for him. On Friday, Manning announced a bid for the U.S. Senate in Maryland, though Democrat Sen. Ben Cardin isn’t in any danger of losing his re-election bid. But this is clearly Episode 874 in Manning’s long-running series of narcissistic personality disorder, to go along with his gender dysphoria. Already somewhat of a hero to the far Left for both his traitorous actions and his transgender travels, Manning will get plenty of fawning media coverage for his hopeless Senate bid. That should at least feed his ego. Yet any Marylander who would vote for this traitor should be ashamed.
