A Despicable Hate-Fest Ginned Up for the Midterms
The despicable “splitting up families” campaign if choreographed for a Demo win in 2018.
Perhaps nothing better reveals the globalist elitists’ quest for unassailable power than their despicable “splitting up families” campaign, choreographed by a hate-promulgating, corporatized media that serve their interests. As with their other efforts, this is another blatant attempt to negate their stunning rebuke in the 2016 American election.
President Donald Trump was defiant. “The United States will not be a migrant camp, and it will not be a refugee holding facility,” he asserted. “You look at what’s happening in Europe, you look at what’s happening in other places; we can’t allow that to happen to the United States.”
But it is happening. Moreover, it is required to happen. Litigation initiated in 1985 ultimately resulted in the Flores Settlement Agreement. It allows the DHS to hold unaccompanied children only 20 days. Since asylum claims take longer to litigate, government must either release the adults and children together into America, or hold the adults and release the children, separating the family. There is also William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 that essentially defines any unaccompanied alien children not from Mexico and Canada as “refugees,” exempting them from a quick return to their home countries.
Two inconvenient realties? Since 2014, some 32,500 of the nearly 100,000 family asylum requests adjudicated by the courts resulted in deportation orders — in absentia — 70% of the time. And of the claims that are litigated, only 25% to 35% are ultimately deemed “bona fide” refugees.
So what’s really happening? Democrats, and their globalist allies in the GOP, are desperately trying to convince Americans that anything less than the wholesale abandonment of the law is immoral.
Their assertions of immorality are pure projection. “We have two choices when it comes to border security and interior enforcement,” writes columnist Daniel Horowitz. “We can continue telegraphing the message that when you come here with children you are home free. This will continue fueling the drug crisis, growing MS-13, enriching the drug cartels, inducing sex trafficking and terrible crimes at the border, encouraging illegals to kidnap children to gain admission, and causing death and mayhem on both sides of the border. Or we could finally deter this behavior by announcing an end to any immigration requests not processed in a controlled environment through our embassy. If you are concerned about ‘separating children’ and don’t support the latter path, then you need to seriously examine your values and priorities.”
The values and priorities of the Ruling Class have been known for some time. As Tucker Carlson noted Tuesday night, while the rich and powerful virtue-signal regarding illegal alien family separation, millions of American children, many of them minority, are also separated from their parents, due to Ruling Class policies that led to the destruction of the nuclear family and the resultant incarceration of parents.
The overt hatred of their progressive allies is also evident, epitomized by Hollywood actor Peter Fonda’s tweet that Barron Trump should be ripped from his mother’s arms and placed in a cage full of pedophiles.
Remember when the children of politicians were considered off limits? Fonda was joined by antifa thugs who tweeted out the personal information of more than 1,500 ICE agents.
Obama officials were quick to rebuke claims that they engaged in the same policy. Yet not at all became “occasionally,” and then the media were forced to concede Obama officials came up with a “superior” solution: a Senate report revealed they placed children with human traffickers after neglecting to run the most basic checks on these so-called ‘caregivers,’“ New York Magazine reported in 2016. So why the manufactured outrage now? Because globalist dogma that "became institutionalized as the gospel of higher education, the evening news, the Internet and social media,” as Victor Davis Hanson puts it, is being rejected.
That dogma splits Americans into two camps. In one are the elitists who coalesce around the “benefits of globalization, automation, centralization and uncontrolled immigration,” that have been “implemented regardless of actual election outcomes,” columnist Steve Hilton explains.
Thus sudden outbreak of orchestrated heart-wringing is designed to obscure the reality that elitists in both parties countenanced or abetted the complete destruction of a merit-based legal immigration system, and the watering-down of the asylum process — to serve their own contemptible interests.
The other camp? As a member of the FBI conducting an “unbiased” investigation of Hillary Clinton put it, all the “poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS” (pieces of s—t) who voted for the president.
And his America First agenda.
That would be the same FBI, along with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who have failed to gain traction among the American public in that arena — which is exactly why the current immigration Narrative™ has been thrust front and center. And in an effort to gin up as much outrage as possible, the elitist-run news media are are generating two over-arching Narratives: comparisons to the Holocaust and slavery, and a “tender age children” motif.
A possible Narrative-buster sure to elicit progressive outrage? Attorney General Jeff Sessions looking into the possibility of using DNA tests to separate the parents from the traffickers. What won’t outrage them? Damning pictures of detention facilities taken during the Obama administration the media are suppressing.
What else is being kept largely under the radar? The disgust with a multiculturalist-worshipping Ruling Class willing to embrace de facto cultural disintegration to advance their agenda is spreading. As The New York Times reveals, “The populist surge that has left Hungary, Austria and Italy threatening to close their borders to migrants has now spread to Germany, where it could even bring down Chancellor Angela Merkel and further unhinge the Europe Union’s cohesion and stability.”
A “populist surge” that could further unhinge “cohesion and stability?” More like a rising awareness of national pride and increasing pushback against plutocrats who have turned half of the EU into “the front lines of migrant woes, terror attacks, rising crime rates and crushing welfare bills to assist the new arrivals,” as columnist Jazz Shaw reveals.
As one of many elitists in both parties critical of the current administration’s policy, former First Lady Michelle Obama inadvertently stated an uncomfortable reality, insisting that “sometimes truth transcends party.”
That “transcendent” agenda is clear: globalists are “all in” on riding the backs of immigrant children to ballot box in the midterm elections.
The stakes couldn’t be higher. Either voters will reject those who would “fundamentally transform” America from a nation state into another cog in the New World Order, or we devolve into subjects completely beholden to the caprices of a permanent, self-serving Ruling Class that embraces open borders, sanctuary cities and amnesty, still holds ordinary Americans in contempt — and remains conspicuously silent when misogynist thuggery is perpetrated on their behalf.
Trump stepped up and issued an executive order yesterday ending the separation policy — and The New York Times has already published a story insisting he could “quickly find himself the subject of another legal challenge” for violating the Flores agreement. It wouldn’t be the least bit surprising if some immigration activist organization or other progressive entity demands impeachment proceedings as well.
Haters gotta hate.
