Democrats Rush to Defend America?

Hardly. When Trump took out a terrorist, leftists loudly complained about his action.

After President Donald Trump killed an “innocent” Iranian “diplomat,” the Democrats quickly rushed to attack the president for his unprovoked act of terrorism. It was an amazing show of patriotism from the Left! Thank you for your love of country. Except … that could be a punch line on The Babylon Bee!

Let’s bust the bubble of denial right now. To do that, I’m going to go back to President Bill Clinton. Osama bin Laden had declared war on America. Acts of terrorism followed. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were attacked resulting in 190 dead and more than 5,000 injured; Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia were also attacked resulting in 20 dead and 498 wounded; the USS Cole was attacked, leaving 17 dead and 39 wounded. Clinton had a number of opportunities to take out bin Laden. However, he punted. Then September 11th happened.

Gen. Qasem Soleimani caused the deaths of hundreds of U.S. service members in Iraq and left thousands maimed for life. Soleimani is a hands-on terrorist who funded Hezbollah, Hamas, and many terrorist militia groups in Iraq. He was personally involved in the attack on our embassy in Baghdad this month.

While president, Obama learned Israel was tracking Gen. Soleimani to take him out because of the attacks on Israel from Iran … and Obama warned Iran. Soleimani would live to kill another day. How many American troops died after that decision? In fact, how many Iranians have been slaughtered in Iran since Obama punted the decision on killing another terrorist?

Did you know thousands of Iranian citizens have been recently slaughtered by their own government because they want freedom from the ruling mullahs. Let’s not forget Obama giving Iran $150 billion — which then Secretary of State John Kerry admitted would go to fund terrorism.

Do Americans know there were 11 missile attacks in two weeks on bases in Iraq where U.S. service members and Iraqi troops are jointly based before Trump responded? He responded because one of those attacks resulted in an American contractor being killed and two U.S. service members wounded. The contractor was an Iraqi-born legal immigrant, now a U.S. citizen. I call that restraint. Apparently, when Trump draws a red line in the sand, he means it.

Regardless of what you think of Trump, we have been at war with Iran for 40 years. It’s just that most Americans don’t know it. Iran, through its proxies, has slaughtered hundreds of our servicemen starting with our embassy in Beirut in 1983 (17 dead) and the Marine barracks at the Beirut Airport also in 1983 (241 killed). So spare me the fake grieving for the death of an Iranian “diplomat.” He was a terroristic animal. I’m pretty sure thousands of American service members and their families are relieved to hear of Soleimani’s death.

At Friday prayers in mosques all across Iran the “worshippers” spill into the streets shouting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” They’ve been at war with us for 40 years. We cannot deny it anymore. Denial is NOT a good strategy.

So, Michael Moore, Nancy Pelosi, AOC, and all of you on the Left who are attacking the president, you’re showing us whose side you are really on.

Something to think about?
