“Let me set the Second Amendment aside and make an even stronger argument for the private ownership of firearms without constraints from government. 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.‘ At this point in time, we are being assailed by a far-left government of power-mad people with little sense of history, plus thugs are burning and looting our cities and beating and killing innocent citizens. It would seem that firearms are a smart buy for people who appreciate their Life, Liberty, and pursuit of happiness.” —Ohio

“The killer was also apparently on an FBI watch list. Another failure by the FBI just like the Boston bombing and the Florida school shooting. “The problem with the Rasmussen poll is it doesn’t explain the 'for’ and ‘against’ views. I think many people THINK getting a photo ID is a big problem for the poor, black, inter-city dwellers who, according to our progressive pols, are too stupid or lazy to find the local DMV. Do white college students even ask their black peers it getting a photo ID is difficult for them or other family members?” —Nevada

“Kay C. James needs to apologize to all Americans like myself who’ve defended this nation. I don’t care how many cute little titles one has behind his or her name; if you don’t have ‘common sense,’ you are worthless. My wife and I are both Army retirees. We are a mixed-race couple. I’m not white to her and she’s not black to me. We’re husband and wife. Besides Jesus, she is my best friend. My wife is an officer and a lady. However, if she were in the same room with the one with all the fancy titles behind her name, I believe she would ‘school’ James on reality. One point of order my colonel wife would drive home is the fact that George Floyd is in the ground because he made poor choices that day. Much like his entire life.” —West Virginia

“If the law about ‘no shirt, no shoes, no service’ still applies, then this man, and any other business, should be able to decide who to serve and who not to serve. It’s a private entity and the owner has every right to serve whomever he wishes. People who do these things against bakers are deliberately trying to get deviant behavior validated or get a big money settlement. We need to stand against these people and stand for what is right.
