Peter Principle: Obama & Politicians Good Enough for … Whatever
An observation that in an organizational hierarchy, every employee will rise or get promoted to his or her level of incompetence, “The Peter Principle, is based on the notion that employees will get promoted as long as they are competent, but at some point will fail to get promoted beyond a certain job because it has become too challenging for them. Employees rise to their level of incompetence and stay there. Over time, every position in the hierarchy will be filled by someone who is not competent enough to carry out their new duties.”
Investopedia published this history that “The Peter Principle was first observed and defined by Dr. Laurence J. Peter and published in his book ‘The Peter Principle’ in 1968. Dr. Peter also states that a promotion to the higher-ranking job position may not necessarily reveal the employee’s incompetence, but rather the new position may require different skills the employee does not possess. Dr. Peter sums up the Peter Principle with the saying: ‘Cream rises until it sours.’ The Peter Principal can be a problem for businesses, which can be solved through continued education. Even with proper employee training, the Peter Principal predicts the employee will eventually get to a position where they are incompetent because of further promotion.”
Barack Obama is notorious for his absence of achievement, but despite lack of credentials and achievements, Obama was good enough for Columbia despite unimpressive grades at Occidental, and awarded presidency of the Harvard Law Review, though he did not have the required scholarly publication record but he was deemed to be good enough.
Barack was a constitutional lecturer but not the professor he claimed to be, but even at that, Barack should have known the distinction between three co-equal branches of government comprised of the Executive Branch, Congress with legislative responsibility, and Supreme Court with top judicial authority.
Absent academic acknowledgement of the Constitution, Obama was handpicked for the Illinois State Senate over a much more talented Conservative Black man, Alan Keyes, who ran for the Illinois Senate in 2004 on the basis that Democrat community organizer Barack refused to support the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. Obama defended himself by saying that since abortion was the intent, the fact that the baby was born alive was inconsequential, and letting it die on the table was required.
Obama, despite achieving nothing much than his penchant for voting “PRESENT” on nearly every important issue, was good enough to run for the U.S. Senate despite lack of political accomplishment in the Illinois Senate. Obama was virtually gifted the U.S. Senate seat, and so impressed the Democratic Party Liberals that they gave the newbie senator the primary speakership at the Democratic presidential convention.
Untested Senator Obama was then good enough to be President despite no accomplishment in the Senate. Obama thrived so much on adulation for nothing, that he was now told he was not only good enough, but the only one, and thus the anointed one came into being as he majestically walks upon the waters that have in reality dried up to form a waterless desert of ideas and accomplishments.
Good enough Obama believed the adulation that despite visual and auditory evidence to the contrary, what became glaringly obvious was his ill-hidden contempt for the authority of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Congress, and the Supreme Court, as he arrogantly displays his narcissism every time he takes to the podium.
Obama speaks grandiosely as he waxes on ObamaCare, war, taxes, fairness, and no matter how mundane the subject, raises issues to the sublime level equaling or exceeding his acknowledged mentor, Pastor Jeremiah Wright who inspired Barack on how to hate America to the point of cursing damnation upon America. The acorn does not fall far from the tree.
Obama lemmings ignore his lack of accomplishment and gross failure of his landmark legislation, the “Affordable Care Act,” A.K.A. ObamaCare, but press on with him for more failed legislation involving immigration reform, carbon taxes related to disproved global warming-climate change, and tax reform designed to bleed America dry until there is abject dependency upon The Obama dictatorial regime, that one way or the other may catapult Barack Obama into being a despotic dictator.
Progress is driven by failure and epitomized by the proverb; “If at first you don’t succeed, Try, try, try again,” until the famous shriek comes out, the ancient Greek word, “Eureka,” meaning “I found it.” Though Obama will not admit it, even some of his own Party say the only thing Obama will find with ObamaCare is a trainwreck. The never-accept-defeat Obama then resorts to claiming that ObamaCare will work in 2020, six years into a future that changes by the day. Embracing failure is the price of success, but at a given point Einstein comes into play as he explains, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again, but expecting different results.” Time for ObamaCare to be scrapped and start over from scratch. Serial liars can never again be trusted.
Blind followers perceive Obama as someone with a unique vision and grasp of the entirety of problems affecting, not just the nation but also the world, a pretense that is incommensurate with his track record. Obama concluded a meeting with House Democrats by declaring, “This is the moment, as Nancy Pelosi noted, that The world is waiting for Obama.” In another rally Obama said, “We are the one we’ve been waiting for.”
Bill O'Reilly fell in line with adoring sycophants, buttering up Obama during a softball interview which he milked dry for several following broadcasts, proving once again that it is difficult to stomach his, “I am a simple man” braggadocio. Disgust for O'Reilly runs deeper in that during the 90 day run-up to the G.W. Bush preemptive war on Iraq, the “War to prevent war,” an oxymoron of all oxymorons, this column expressed passionately not to do it as there was daily progress of U.N. Inspectors finding and destroying up to 5 missiles each day, and as long as progress was being made toward peace, there was no need to jump into what is now 11 years of war costing about $6 trillion, 5,000 American dead in Iraq and Afghanistan, and millions of innocent people dead and displaced plus plus plus plus.
O'Reilly was so gung-ho for the war that he denounced opponents as “TRAITORS.” All of a sudden not too long ago, O'Reilly said the Iraq War was a mistake…Sorry Bill…too little too late; a day late and a dollar short, proving O'Reilly is just another Monday Morning Quarterback. O'Reilly, Congress, and a cast of millions gleefully took up the chant, “Shock and Awe,” and guess who is suffering shock and awe now. And who knows how far into the future, if not forever, as no war with Islam is over until Islam says it is over, and they have been at perpetual war since the year 632 or so.
Harvard and Yale have produced more than their share of Presidents but their track record is dismal as these once prestigious schools that were originally founded as seminaries but have since lost their way, and are now godless and ultra-Liberal, so what good is their extreme Liberal “education” absent God, the Ten Commandments, and common sense that is now replaced by “Political Correct” that is by definition “Incorrect.” When descriptive adjective are added, the meaning is distorted. It is akin to “Justice” that has many prefixes like “Social Justice,” but justice is justice is justice is justice; “Social” notwithstanding; case closed.
Senator Robert Menendez put it into correct context when speaking in reference to the Ukraine crisis, “Say what you mean and mean what you say,” that under closer examination may come back to haunt the Über Liberal NJ Senator. Menendez and his President who are all in for abortion, gay marriage, ObamaCare, amnesty for illegal immigrants, carbon taxes, and a host of ultra-Liberal agendas, including war and revolution encompassing Africa, Middle East, and extending to Pakistan, and now Russia and its ill-disguised invasion of the Ukraine and Crimea.
The Peter Principle is alive and sports a Facebook of members who may be panicked into editing or shutting down their incriminating pages. Those who live by their words may well die by their words. Note the situation in Arizona that had a legitimate law, the Arizona Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
But lo and behold, the National football League entered the fray, threatening to deny Arizona the already approved future Super Bowl Game. Politicians do what politicians do: CAVE, and Gov. Jan Brewer humbly vetoed Senate Bill 1062 that was intended to protect religious liberty for business owners who chose not to provide services on religious grounds. The homosexual agenda advances at the cost of religious liberty but omitted is the fact that it was done for NFL money, not for principle.
Upon closer examination, it may be that all Presidents dating back at least to FDR, abused Constitutional power as they grew the presidency to the point that a nondescript community organizer can take over the U.S. by not so surreptitiously changing America into a de facto dictatorship on his quest for One World Leadership, but of course, subservient and bowing to Saudi Arabia King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, titular head of Islam and custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of Masjid al Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina.
Real damage to the Republic has been done by FDR and Truman who is the first and only world leader to unleash not one, but two nuclear bombs over Japan, The present state of the U.S. has been not been well-served by incumbent politicians of both political parties, and has now gotten to the point that front-running Presidential candidate, GOP Rand Paul, openly advocates that the GOP cannot win unless becoming more like Liberal Democrats, putting the lie to vive la différence. For patriotic Americans it is, “Heads we lose; tails we lose.”
