Barbara Boxer: Abortion Debate Ended
Liberals claim all social issues, abortion in particular, are new precedents and established “law of the land” that supersede precedents set and carved in stone from the beginning of time. Liberals led by President Barack Obama arrogantly reset and override all other virtually eternal precedents.
According to Liberal interpretation, logically, Liberals must take responsibility for slavery in the U.S. as that was a precedent and established law of the land that was confirmed and held up by the Supreme Court. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) in a May 13 speech on the Senate floor claimed the abortion debate ended in 1973 with passage of Roe v. Wade that “legally” opened the floodgates. That is quite an assumption – declaring abortion to be legal, makes it right, a cause for the after-effects of the slavery racist problem still plaguing the U.S. in the 21st Century.
“Fetus” is the inane sanitized term applied to a developing baby in the womb and Boxer held that SCOTUS balanced the rights of the fetus with the rights of the mother. If that were true, where was the voice of defense of the developing human child in the womb that needed special protection in that it could not speak or defend itself, an immutable right and pillar of American jurisprudence?
SCOTUS ruled that protection for the baby in the womb was nowhere in the Constitution, but is emphatically the keystone historic arch in the Declaration of Independence, “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” Life was a cause célèbre instigating the Revolution from the United Kingdom’s King George III who married German princess Charlotte of Mecklenberg-Strelitz. Ironically, as to the abortion issue, Queen Charlotte gave birth to fifteen children.
LifeNews.com reported that Norma McCovey, the woman behind Roe, dedicated her life to overturning Roe v. Wade. McCovey said, “I think it’s safe to say that the entire abortion industry is based on a lie… I am dedicated to spending the rest of my life undoing the law that bears my name.”
LifeNews continued,
This case is activist because the Supreme Court relies upon notions of living constitutionalism, invoking the doctrine of “substantive due process” to create a right that is nowhere to be found in the text of the Constitution. This doctrine, which was established in Dred Scott v. Sandford, is the prime example of judges reading broad constitutional terms divorced from any textual or originalist moorings, thereby making them empty vessels into which they can pour any policy preferences they desire… Moreover, Roe has been criticized by those on both sides of the abortion debate for “its flawed historical analysis.” For example, Justice Harry Blackmun, who wrote the opinion in Roe, hearkened back in the decision to the practices of ancient societies such as the Persian Empire while ignoring state abortion regulation at the time in the U.S.
About 57 million children, 1.2 million annually, had their lives taken in the U.S. since the 1973 Roe decision in defiance of rights of the pre-born whose fundamental right to life was stripped away, not to mention death, physical and emotional harm inflicted of women victims, spouses and families.
Two of the richest billionaire men in the world, Bill Gates of Microsoft, and Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway, are nominally dedicated to world health issues and the environment, but are also dedicated to population control, a sanitized name for abortion murder. Buffet has contributed $1.25 billion directly to abortion causes.
As of May 16, 2013, Bill Gates had donated $28 billion to his foundation formed in 1997, as he set up the tax-exempt “Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation” that awards the majority of its grants to U.S. 501c3 organizations and other tax-exempt organizations. Buffett gifted the Gates Foundation with 10 million shares of Berkshire Hathaway stock in annual installments, worth approximately $31 billion in June 2006.
The Gates Foundation is an organization described as a 501c3. These are commonly referred to as charitable organizations. Organizations described in section 501c3, other than testing for public safety organizations, are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170. In effect, the Gates Foundation receives a tax exemption for killing babies. Only in America.
This über rich duo made their fortunes off the backs of the consumer public but show their lack of gratitude by funding the killing of their future customer unborn babies. No doubt, this duo and others like them are unaware of the Bible proverb, “To those to whom much is given, much is expected.” That “much expected” does not include destroying life that is given and created by God alone, who graciously allows human pleasurable participation in the continuing creation of new human life that guarantees survival of the species in the process.
That über rich duo are not alone in greed and misuse of the gift of talents as a new crop of entrepreneurs headed by the Mark Zuckerberg Facebook types have risen and quickly learned the art of stealing ideas of other people and capitalizing on them. As with Gates and Buffett, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg donated just short of $1 billion to charities funding Planned Parenthood. Facebook was in Wall Street never-never land early-on until Zuckerberg learned to use his cash surpluses to buy other companies needed to complete the puzzle.
President Obama is not pro-choice as he is absolute in pro-abortion in defiance of both Christianity and his Muslim roots, as both prohibit abortion. The saving grace for Obama is the Islam tenet that it is permissible to lie for the promotion of Islam.
Not an excuse for Catholic Christians like VP Joe Biden, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, outgoing HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, and a host of Congress members who sold their souls for abortion that Pelosi described as “sacred ground.” The real abortion scandal lays in Jesuit Universities that partner with Planned Parenthood, participate and encourage other moral travesties against the faith, raising questions as to the will of Jesuit Pope Francis to clean his own Jesuit house, his seminal moment.
“Higher Education” is a tag perpetuated by intelligentsia types, when factually higher education has morally sunk to become a morass of moral decay and decadence. Harvard is a prime example of how low the furtherance of depravity can go in “institutions” of higher learning, institutions being the operative word.
Now the uneducated educated are involved in changing public education to the point that the end product is deficient education that reprises itself ad infinitum as the lowly descend ever lower. That becomes the wedge for government takeover of raising, i.e. indoctrinating the children in government anti-Christian ideology.
The conundrum for America is that if the Church cannot abide by its own dogmas, doctrines and rules, can there be hope for the country that does not have the advantage of God-driven guidelines? Not to say that abortion is only an American problem as abortion is causing havoc around the world as many countries are suffering economically as a result of birth rates insufficient to maintain native ethnic cultures.
The economy of Japan has been stagnant for some twenty years as the population ages without having provided for adequate replacement due to the lower birth rates. China and Russia face the same danger while Europe maintains their fragile economies by counting on immigrants to pick up the slack, a double-edged sword in that these consist mostly of Muslims who become an ethnic counter-culture.
Scripture admonishes to honor our rulers and our fellow human beings, but without ceasing to serve and fear God. “Pride precedes the fall,” with the corollary being, “The bigger they are, the harder they fall.” The more powerful and successful people are, the more they suffer when they experience defeat and disaster. The chilling Biblical admonition is, “What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world, but suffer the loss of his own soul.”
Science has proven that life in the womb is human, feels pain, has brain activity, learns, recognizes male and female voices, and has a beating heart-pumping and circulating blood that is biblically the carrier and proof of life. Written in Leviticus 17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood.”
Abortion mills are rife with bleeding aborted babies, some still alive though having been subjected to abortion procedures. Many aborted babies have been incinerated to produce energy, and those facilities cannot clean up all the blood still flowing. The price of wasted blood is blood, whatever subliminal eternal message is embedded.
