The Obama-Bergdahl Affair – It Could Lead to Impeachment
But first, let’s talk about, as the unknown author of an AmericanProsperity.com article published online on June 13, 2014 says, “The Most Outrageous Part of the Bergdahl Trade”. That very heavily lop-sided five for one ridiculously also unbelievingly lop-sided in favor of our sworn enemies, the Taliban is still clanging out of tune to the cant-believe-it smiles on the faces of the highest echelons of the Taliban.
When Mr. Obama gets snookered, he gets taken royally, right out of his underpants. What a shellacking those Islamic terrorists handed him. By any estimation Obama should be hidden away licking his wounds of disgrace in perpetuity. But instead, he has been pretty chipper about the whole thing and when Bowe Bergdahl’s parents came on to the scene at the White House, just a peek at Bowe’s mother put a Bubba Clinton smile broadly across his face that is still there.
On the other hand, that smile probably lasted only until he got the report on the classified briefing to the House of Representatives on June 8 th, by the White House officials saying that 80 to 90 Obama Administration staffers knew about the situation, as the American Prosperity.com (AP.com) reported in their published article – while all 535 members of Congress were kept in the dark.
As AP.com reports,
House Armed Services Committee Chairman Buck McKeon (R-CA) called this news ‘disturbing,’ partly because of the high number who knew and partly because the White House has said it didn’t inform Congress until after the swap was made because it feared Bergdahl’s life may have been in danger if there had been a leak.
“My question to them was, if you don’t know who knew, then how could you – if a leak had happened and the sergeant had been killed – how could you go back and find out who leaked?” McKeon said.
Rep. Adam Schiff, a California Democrat, declined to defend the administration in an interview with CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield. "It didn’t sit very well with those of us who were listening at the briefing,“ Schiff said of the news that so many administration staffers knew of the decision ahead of time.
This is where the question regarding impeachment grew claws and was looking for them to be imbedded deeply into Obama’s posterior as the AP.com reported, "A law passed by Congress last year – and signed by President Obama – requires a 30-day notice before any prisoners associated with terrorist attacks against the United States are released from the military prison at Guantanamo Bay. This decision clearly violates this federal statute, but laws haven’t stopped Obama from doing what he wanted before, so why now?”
Of course, why should Obama start now? He has been so disparagingly inattentive to ANY of our country’s laws that he chooses to ignore, the Constitution is so full of holes he has gouged out of it, it resembles a huge block of swiss cheese. Obama just plain does not give a DAMN about our Constitution; he has bypassed it before and no one has done anything about it. Not even the United States Attorney General who nibbles his daily feedings of rat cheese out of Obama’s hand just after he grabs a handful from the cheesy Constitution block of laws.
If our Judiciary officials had any intestinal fortitude or at least enough to enforce the laws that they all took an oath to defend Obama, would be sitting in a cell right now where he belongs. But nearly all of our judges are gutless and mindless traitors as well; so Obama runs his merry way destroying our entire country, piece by piece.
AP.com opines in conclusion,
As egregious as these revelations are, this may not be the most outrageous part of all. The final order to make the trade wasn’t made by President Obama… but instead by Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. This makes us wonder about the President’s leadership style and how decisions are really made in this traitorous White House.
What do you think is the biggest mistake by the President: Keeping Congress in the dark about the situation, or having his Secretary of Defense give the final order for the trade?
In my opinion, both are equally significant for qualification for the biggest mistake. Keeping Congress in the dark broke a brand new NDAA law and directing Hagel to give the final order may have been his weasely way to claim later that he didn’t give the order, which is something tasteless he would do.
And speaking of such, we should not bypass talk of impeachment. Who knows? Maybe there is ONE person out there brave enough to broach the subject. Certainly there are probably more than enough bona fide reasons to put the lock on and throw away the key. And someday he (or she) will emerge from the shadows of the old America.
The very first should fittingly be violation of the NDAA public law just signed into law by Obama himself about keeping Congress informed 30 days before releasing terrorist prisoners. Wouldn’t it be poetic justice if the last law he enacted should put him down?
It may have puzzled AP.com also when another unknown author penned “Could the Release of Gitmo Prisoners Lead to Obama’s Impeachment”? but it doesn’t faze or puzzle me; this is as good as any to do a number on this devil in our midst who has more ‘evil’ than David Kupelian has been able to dredge up in his two excellent books on the subject.
And I agree with AP.com when it writes that “Though Obama signed the act into law on Dec. 20 th he apparently felt no need to follow it.” That is the imperialist narcissistic swollen ego this man has grown into believing of himself over the past 5 or 6 years while in DC. It grows by leaps and bounds once it hits you and there is only one cure for it that is anywhere near effective and that is removal from office.
There is a remedy for preventing it from becoming a burden; it is two words, namely “no reelection”. That one word, reelection is the root of all evil in politics; it is the word that begins the aura of corruption and the beginning of the downfall of eventually most all politicians. Simple: No Reelection – No Corruption.
