Parents, Teach Your Kids to Respect Authority and They Won’t Be ‘Assaulted’
At this point in the short news week, you have heard about the South Carolina school resource officer who had to forcefully take a teenage girl out of her desk. All because she wanted to look at her phone, the media says. She was “innocently” looking at Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all the other social media apps that are taking place of real human, face to face interaction. The authority-hating, smart mouth, gum-flapping child had more important things to do like comment on Facebook posts or “like” pictures than to listen to the lesson her teacher was giving in her mind. The drivel on her phone was more important than obeying the teacher telling her 3-4 times to get off her phone and the school administrator having to do the same. This is when Deputy Ben Fields had to intervene. And this is also when the left, progressives and the media loses their mind and makes this disrespectful brat a martyr.
After asking the girl 3-4 times to get off of her phone, Fields attempts to get her out of the desk she is sitting in. She begins to swing her fists at him and starts to push up with her feet, causing the desk to lean back. Fields obviously tries to maneuver behind her and she twists, still hitting him. He tries to pull her out of the side, she continues to fight, twist and torque around and the desk flips backwards. Now Fields has her on the ground, near a wall and a mostly metal desk. He pulls her away from both and other metal desks that are around, so he arrests her. He has to give verbal commands to get her hands, as if she didn’t know what was going on. All of this occurred in front of the teacher, who originally asked her to get off the phone. The teacher supports Fields, and what led up to the incident isn’t anywhere to be found, which is quite common and convenient.
The lack of respect with teenagers is becoming all too common, but the progressive left and the media don’t want you to know about that. After all, it would hurt their sensationalized broadcasts. In this case, we have a white cop “assaulting” a black girl. She’s now a martyr for the cause. She is a victim. It wouldn’t be politically correct to call this what it is. This is a case where clearly she has no respect for authority. Why wouldn’t she; she’s never been taught by her parent’s to respect it. This girl is an example that is all too common in the public school system. She was born and at the earliest convenience of whatever parent was raising her, albeit mother, father, or grandparent, was tossed into the politically correct indoctrination factory to be raised and taught. Public schools do little to nothing when teaching respect. This important life talent must start at home by both mother and father at a young age. The attitude we see on display for authority in this case is the result of failed parenting.
Now this impudent child’s parents want to be around. After all, this is their poor little girl that was just trying to learn in class, right? She was unfairly targeted by the school resource officer…and school administrator…and teacher… Her parents see a potential for big money; now it is time to be a “parent,” but not in real life. This is for the cameras and lawsuit.
The media loves when they can take an issue like this and nationalize it. These bring in viewers, which means more money. You won’t see the 62-year-old white school teacher in New Jersey, who was attacked and slammed by a 16-year-old black student for taking the kid’s cell phone in class. That is nothing. I mean, white lives don’t really matter, do they?
The last thing this country needs is to know what is really going on in public schools, according to the selectively silent media. We wouldn’t want to see disrespectful children literally beating up their teachers. That would show a failure in parenting and a byproduct of the broken homes that are becoming more prevalent because parents decide it is in the “best interest of the child” that the parents aren’t together anymore. When both parents are in the home and take on the responsibility their actions created, they both need to step up and parent the child in the same home, teaching them how to respect authority. It is solely up to the parents and no one else. Believe me when I say the public school, friends, society and the gas station attendant won’t teach your child respect. I think that is obvious at this point.
Recently, in Sacramento, a large fight broke out in a high school. A principal attempted to step in and stop the fight, but was grabbed and body slammed to the ground instead. Once again, the principal was white and the student was black. No outrage from the media. They didn’t make the principal a burnt offering to the god of public opinion to highlight the problem of disrespect and lawlessness in the public school system. No. It would not be politically correct to point out the epidemic of failing to parent.
The deputy was fired within a couple of days. That was a really quick internal affairs investigation. I doubt the investigation really even occurred. Fields was a political sacrifice for Leon Lott, the Sheriff. He wanted to limit the amount of political retaliation that will come. So instead of watching all three angles and versions of the video that have come out now to see if your deputy really did violate any policies or laws, fire him and do it quick. Lott said that Fields did not follow procedure. I did not realize that law enforcement agencies had policies for extracting smart mouth, defiant teenagers from desks. I doubt they do, so he was fired for violating which policy again?
On Friday, students performed a walk out in support of Fields. There were some black students wearing shirts that said “Free Fields” and “#BringBackFields” to show their support. The black principal promised no discipline will be levied against them. Yet, this will become a racist narrative for all the baiters.
We are living in days and see the results of broken, one parent families. Here is the result of the public school system that is more worried about feelings and indoctrinating kids to worry more about their feelings than common sense, facts and the proper way to react to adults and authority figures.
This girl asked for everything that happened. If she had just decided that today she was going to learn about the subject being taught in class than what tripe blabber was being posted on social media, she would’ve had a much easier day. However, when her “parents” want to be parents only for free money, and not when parenting is difficult, then what do you expect?
