Mike Rowe’s famous TV show “Dirty Jobs” aired its final season in 2012, but his advocacy for returning to the trades seems to be reaping an abundant harvest.

Generation Z is now being called “The Tool Belt Generation” as it flocks to the blue-collar trades. Whether it is because of guys like Mike Rowe or because Gen Zers have seen the college debt-laden misery of their forebears, the shift seems hopeful for the future of America.
