It’s been 28 years since the original cult classic film “Twister” was released, and 2024 is the year of the reboot. “Twisters” (yes, this time with an “s”) isn’t a remake, though; it’s a standalone tribute. And it’s a welcome one, too, given today’s ocean of woke, dark, and plain ridiculous Hollywood films. “Twisters” is about Oklahoma cowboy scientist storm chasers.
