Funding Denied Families of KIA
Update from the “Make ‘em Suffer” File
UPDATE: The latest entry from the Obama administration’s “Make ‘em Suffer” File is news that his DoD civilian appointees have been denying funding for families of KIA service personnel, both a $100,000 death distribution and transportation to Dover AFB to receive remains, and accompany their loved ones home. Since, 01 October, 26 families have been denied this support, without anyone in the administration having enough sense to ask for correction of this inexcusable “oversight.” The funding and transportation was restored on 09 October. Meanwhile, Barack Obama continues to use Air Force One and its entire contingent of additional aircraft and support crews to commute to political fundraisers, stump speeches and vacations, at enormous expense. The fact that the commander in chief continues to use this most costly Air Force asset for purely political and pleasure trips while denying honor flights for fallen warriors is disgraceful.
