Based on the final trailer, the latest and last episode of the Star Wars series — The Rise of Skywalker — is no exception. Abandoning compelling stories that featured flawed, but heroic, characters, the greatest movie franchise in history has become little more than a social justice warrior screed. Until now, the most infamous squandered opportunity and marketing failure in business history was New Coke. New Star Wars trumps that. The fans are sick of it.
