When U.S. President Donald Trump ordered a drone strike on Iran’s Quds Force leader Qasem Soleimani, he says it was to prevent an attack and perhaps stop a war. But many on the American Left say he made the region even more unstable and may have lit the fuse for World War III. If the Islamic Republic of Iran reacts with a strike on U.S. assets, personnel, or allies, should the president ask Congress for a declaration of war?
