Army Report: Biden Wasted the Blood of American Patriots in AFG
Power does not tolerate a vacuum, nor an inept and vacuous appeaser.
In an update to our extensive report on Joe Biden’s deadly surrender and retreat from Afghanistan — still deadly today for all those we left behind — the just-released 2,000-page Army assessment of that disastrous exfil is an unmitigated indictment of Biden.
Army veteran Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) slammed Biden for his “catastrophic failure” and declared that Biden and Secretary of State Tony Blinken lied to the American people to “cover up their gross mismanagement of that crisis.”
As The Washington Post summed it up much too kindly: “Senior White House and State Department officials failed to grasp the Taliban’s steady advance on Afghanistan’s capital and resisted efforts by U.S. military leaders to prepare the evacuation of embassy personnel and Afghan allies weeks before Kabul’s fall, placing American troops ordered to carry out the withdrawal in greater danger.”
Yes, but the implications of Biden’s failure beyond Afghanistan are dire.
At the time of Biden’s surrender last August, I wrote: “The consequences of Biden’s now-obvious failure as commander-in-chief have extended and dire implications for our national security far beyond the borders of Afghanistan. Biden’s AFG retreat will embolden far more powerful tyrants, notably our near-peer adversaries China and Russia, and of course Iran and North Korea are on the move.”
Indeed, six months later, Vladimir Putin’s forces are testing NATO and U.S. resolve, ready to invade Ukraine — and Biden’s feckless frontline negotiators are no match for Vlady.
Moreover, Red China’s dictator, Xi Jinping, is testing U.S. resolve over the Taiwan Straight.
Understand that China and Russia are tag-teaming, testing Biden’s lack of resolve to confront authoritarian tyrants. Biden’s Afghanistan retreat demonstrated that he was not willing to take on the Taliban, a far less threatening adversary than Russia or China. If Russia moves on Ukraine, China may quickly move on Taiwan, creating massive national security threats on two fronts.
At the time of Biden’s AFG surrender, I also wrote: “The intermediate concerns are that Biden has reseeded the al-Qa'ida and ISIL turf, putting the U.S. homeland at risk of another terrorist attack.
Indeed, last week, Marine General Kenneth McKenzie, commander of CENTCOM, declared: "ISIS has nevertheless reconstituted as an asymmetric threat. … Their desire to harm us is as intense as ever.”
And we should never forget Biden’s AFG drone strike distraction, killing a longtime U.S. aid worker and nine other civilians, seven of whom were children, in his attempt to look presidential after his retreat.
Do you see the pattern here?
Brace yourself, America.
Power does not tolerate a vacuum, nor an inept and vacuous appeaser — Joe Biden.
