California Lefty Lawmaker Eats Her Own
When you realize your party supports evil, sometimes you have to say or do something.
California State Senator Scott Weiner is actively making California a worse place to live. He has authored law after law that protect the absolute worst people in society. Unfortunately, he and his far-left goons are at it again.
A new piece of legislation, Senate Bill 1414, was crafted by Republican lawmaker Shannon Grove with the intent of making solicitation of a minor for sex a felony with a two- to four-year prison sentence as well as requiring a place on the sex offender registry and a $25,000 fine. But after the amendments, which Grove correctly called “hostile,” the bill now says it can be up to the judge’s discretion whether to charge the offender with a felony or a misdemeanor, and first-time offenders don’t have to get their name put on the sex offender registry. Furthermore, if the victim were 16 or 17, it would only be a misdemeanor.
The justification for this watered-down version? Well, naturally, the ACLU declared that the bill in its original form was racist and would send a disproportionate amount of black and brown people to jail. Criminal justice reform group Smart Justice California decried the bill as being biased against the LGBTQ community. In other words, it’s more important to Democrats to protect monsters in human form than to protect children.
Grove was so horrified by the changes to her bill that she wants her name removed from it. She doesn’t want to be associated with this perverted evil.
She isn’t alone.
California State Senator Susan Eggman, a Democrat and self-proclaimed progressive, was also infuriated with the changes made to the bill. In a fiery speech, she declared that she was done with her party protecting predators and being okay with the buying and selling of little girls.
Democrat CA state Senator Susan Talamantes Eggman says she is “done” with the Democrat party protecting violent criminals who abuse children.

Wow 🔥🔥
“I’d like to say as a progressive, proud member of this body for the last 12 years, I’m done.”
“I’m done with us protecting… pic.twitter.com/BT6kL7b4o5
Eggman unequivocally stated: "I’m done with us protecting people who would buy and abuse our children. I’m done. I don’t want to send more black and brown men to prison. I don’t want more people in prison. But I don’t want people buying girls. I don’t want people buying little girls anymore. And I’m tired of saying it’s okay and that we have to protect the men who do it.”
There is a great quote from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone: “It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.” Knowing how much Democrats are in lockstep, any dissent of this type is seen as betrayal. This, however, was an act of courage, one grounded in conviction.
Eggman has urged her fellow Democrats to veer back toward the center because they are starting to look like fools for their inconsistent and, in some cases, downright evil policy positions.
Would that there are more Democrats like her. Then, we might all be able to find some common ground again.
