Re: Trump’s Stellar Picks for Free Speech and Energy

“We conservatives have dodged a bullet this election. We have little time to make repairs to our government. What will happen next election? And the election after that? There are a disconcertingly large number of leftists in our country. If they gain a voting majority, we are in for the fight of our lives against the inception of the United Socialist States of America. This is a clear and present danger. We must educate the people against it now. Within the next four years, it must be shown how advantageous a free capitalist republic is to the American people.” —Kansas

Re: Trump Day 1: Demolish the Demos’ Rigged Midterm Election Strategy

“The fact that Harris and Walz received seven million fewer votes in 2024 than Biden did in 2020 may be, as Alexander noted, because the Democrat ticket was a dud. The ‘joy’ strategy did not work. But I want to know what happened to those votes. Maybe some of them ended up in Trump’s column, but I doubt Trump’s increase of 2.6 million over his 2020 total was out of those seven million.” —Illinois

“Alexander makes very clear the imperative to pass some national standard for voter ID requirements in national elections. Yes, the Constitution gives states the right to determine how to conduct their elections, but I think congressional legislation regarding national elections would stand up to SCOTUS scrutiny.” —New York

“Just to be clear, though California is STILL counting votes, there is a lot of RED in our state that was not there before! Don’t give up on us!” —California

Re: The Trouble With Recess Appointments

“My problem with all of this is simply that all the controversy seems to stem from some women who said, Gaetz is guilty. Prove it. Remember Cassidy Hutchinson? One look at the president’s limousine is enough proof that Trump did NOT try to wrestle the steering wheel from his driver. Hutchinson said he did. If Gaetz did all the things he’s been accused of, surely there is proof. Let’s get this settled and move on.” —Nevada

Re: A Travel Guide for Trump Refugees

“All of the nations mentioned by the Washington (Com)Post were among the worst offenders of totalitarianism during the Wuhan Flu scare. By all means, lefties, move to, and stay, in these countries and see how good you had it here.” —New Jersey

“Most people who do not realize how fortunate they are to live in America probably never traveled abroad or worked in a multicultural environment. My foreign coworkers at Cornell often stated how spoiled we Americans are, how cheap food is as a percent of our income, how freely we can relocate without government permission, how we can invent something and the proceeds would be ours to keep, to name just a few of the things that we take for granted and that most other peoples can never have.” —Pennsylvania

“What can I do to make this new exchange immigration a fact? I would be more than happy to help. Many immigrants want to work and are actually good workers. Our businesses are hamstrung by I9 requirements from hiring many of these immigrants. An exchange program would be great for the U.S.” —Wisconsin

Re: Challenges Ahead? Ask a Veteran

“As a Naval Aviator, I flew the P3C Orion. My crew, as PC, depended upon me getting the job done and getting them home safe. President Trump will be our PC, and he will get us home safe. Job number one should be to clean up not only the DOJ and other departments but also the godawful mess that Biden has created in the military. The news for we veterans about the state of the military, in all branches, is not good.” —Massachusetts

Re: Does the Left Really Need to Buy Hollywood?

“The list of celebrities I’d actually be interested in meeting I could count on one hand. Why anyone would find most of them interesting or listen to anything they say makes no sense. Most of them are condescending elitists who lost touch with normal people long ago. The old-time entertainers had a code — stay out of politics. Reagan left his movie career behind before immersing himself in politics. Guys like George Clooney — who has never overcome his rage over the McCarthyism perpetrated against his family 75 years ago — did not. That their collective activism — rage-filled and lunatic as it often is — fails to move the needle, so to speak, is something we should all find amusing.” —Oklahoma

Re: The ‘Handmaidens’ Promise Chastity

“By my calculation, in 2054, there will be no U.S. liberal Democrats under age 25 due to abortion and the 4B movement. As Republicans say, ‘Elections have consequences.’” —North Carolina

Re: Tuesday Short Cuts

“The Dems have, since Obama, catered to the 3% factions in everything, They seemed to think 3% here and 3% there would make them invincible. As always, the Dems take a simplistic approach. People feel the crunch of the economy? Answer: Tax the rich — the people who hire and add value to the economy. Trump threatens their empire? Answer: Call him a fascist and throw insane legal charges against him. What happened to the party of Truman and JFK? I hope the Dems get rid of the insane and recreate their party to be an offset to the GOP, developing alternate, but not insane, solutions to America’s problems. We need two parties — just not progressives.” —Nevada

“Note to Vivek Ramaswamy: In addition to jettisoning federal departments, I recommend a freeze on replacement requisitions and salary levels. Seems to me that far too many bureaucrats do not work effectively and they have fear of being fired. The DOGE team should also work to eliminate the job protections of the bureaucrats in the federal mess.” —California

“There isn’t evidence that these kids are a threat to safety or fairness.” —MSNBC’s Jen Psaki on boys playing girls sports

“It is this kind of lying and nonsense that aided Donald Trump and Republicans in achieving their overwhelming 2024 election victory. Continuation of such blatant BS will result in even more crushing defeats of leftist, progressive Democrats in ‘26 and '28. Keep it up. Please.” —Florida

Re: Profiles of Valor: COL Michael Waltz

“As a fellow Army Ranger who graduated with Mike Waltz, I can think of no better person to serve now as Trump’s national security advisor, though I think he would have been a better choice at DOD than Hegseth, given Mike’s experience and leadership record. This was a great profile!” —Georgia

“Both of Mike’s books, Warrior Diplomat and Hard Truths, are testaments to his character and leadership abilities, love for our country, and devotion to our nation’s national security. As Alexander notes, he and the rest of Trump’s nominees have an enormous mess to clean up after the grossly inept Biden and Harris debacle of the last four years. That will take time and patience.” —Ohio
