Re: The Hand of Providence

“It is not often that I am so deeply moved by a review of our history, but this Thanksgiving message held my attention from the first word to the last. Thank you fellow Patriots!” —Massachusetts

“Sometimes up here in America’s last frontier, we can feel a bit disconnected from the lower 48. Thanks for this reminder of what ties us all together!” —Alaska

Re: Laying Out the Vision for DOGE

“Elon Musk has hinted at a powerful tool President Trump can use to shed deadweight agencies — the Tenth Amendment. If Congress balks and goes to court, the case should be straightforward for an originalist judge. Nevertheless, it would be better to have Congress on board to write necessary bills for the orderly closure of functions not among the enumerated powers of the federal government. This would be especially important when the transfer of property to the states is involved.” —Minnesota

“I wish DOGE plenty of luck with cutting waste from our bloated government budget. When they get down to business I’m sure there will be plenty of head winds from both sides of the aisle as each representative will be defending their sacred cows. No matter how useless and expensive these government programs may be, lame stream news media will be all too quick to push their hateful propaganda attacking president Trump’s efforts. I feel confident however that for once we actually have competent people driving this very necessary department to cut costs that should eventually lower our out of control deficit.” —The People’s Republic of New York

“Not only is the multitude of bureaucracies’ regulations ‘antithetical to the Founders’ vision,‘ but they are a direct violation of Article I Section 1, the very first operative clause of the Constitution: 'All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.’ And the Supreme Court has allowed this usurpation for nearly a century! Perhaps what we need is a Constitutional Amendment stating, ‘The powers set forth in Article I Section 1 cannot be delegated to any other branch of government; any such delegation is null and void.’” —Arizona

Re: American Youth Ain’t Happy

“Thanking God every day for everything that is in my world gives me a joy I can’t express. I really hate that my back hurts, but I thank God that the aches and pains make me human. I have learned that the way I look at anything is flexible. I choose to see the things I used to judge as bad as interesting and more of an obstacle than only seeing bad. That perspective change makes me grateful. The world is interesting, and I have no control, so I am grateful. So is the world because I have figured out if I had control, I would really mess things up.” —Wisconsin

Re: Jack Smith Abandons Lawfare Against Trump

“If the tables were turned and a Democrat was being attacked for the same reasons (to keep the person from getting into office), they would mysteriously meet accidental deaths and the like (Reference the Clinton unfortunate mishaps and the one person who knew the truth about Obama’s birth certificate). All charges against President Trump should be dropped, and I hope these Democrat players can somehow be punished without it being at the hand of Donald J. Trump.” —Illinois

Re: Leftists Threaten Thanksgiving Boycott

“I’m not for disowning family for their beliefs, or do I? I don’t want to hear whining leftists who support the destruction of Our Republic on a day that is dedicated to giving Thanks! So stay home and watch some Thanksgiving program on Netflix that has YOUR values in it.” —Illinois

“The unfortunate part is that these women don’t listen to the truth and are angry all the time. Maybe those people who are being shunned by liberal women or men for that matter should thank God they don’t have to have a Thanksgiving meal with angry relatives. Wish those a Happy Thanksgiving and have a blessed and peaceful Thanksgiving by yourself or with family/friends who aren’t angry all the time.” —Alaska

Re: Tuesday: Below the Fold

“‘U. S. military may medically discharge trans members.’ That’s wise; they tend to be high-maintenance people, something we cannot afford, not even if we had no threat of global conflict and numerous shortages and deficiencies. ”[Ms. Harris] takes, sometimes, a painfully long time to make decisions.“ Mr. Biden has the same problem, as Ukraine has learned to its great sorrow. Geopolitical military emergencies are not forgiving of hesitance, half-measures, or fear-based rules of engagement.” —Minnesota

Re: Trump’s Big Tariff Stick

“It does not surprise me that the tariffs on China are lower than Canada and Mexico. We’ve allowed ourselves to be dependent on Chinese goods. So until we ramp up, we are beholden to the Communist Enemies that supply so much of our economy. If we aren’t careful, we could be in a world of hurt. China is building coal-burning facilities, making steel, and buying up massive amounts of Gold. While we sit here and hug trees and worry about the climate. Trump will try and change that until the Democrats get back in office and screw everything up again.” —Illinois

Re: Exterminating Collegiate DEI

“Ms. Griffin STRIKES again. Great short article on DEI! I have always (since 1976) thought Affirmative Action, and its more extreme form, DEI, and BLM were racist. Now, people are beginning to shed their blinders and discover the truth. Meritocracy should have always been the order of the day in education and occupational employment. Individuals, regardless of race and religion, should be able to lead their lives completely free.” —Kansas
