Re: The Not-So-Inclusive Scouts of America
“I joined the BSA around age 13 in 1967. After my son joined the Cub Scouts in 1982, I joined several years later as a Boy Scout Assistant Leader. I always went to Summer Camp with the boys. But in May 2013, I chose to quit the BSA. I was not going to look into parents’ pleading eyes wondering why another Troop Member or an Adult Leader molested their precious son. Two-deep leadership will not work if both of the leaders are homosexual. By the way: I just received a partial payment for my molestation when I was a boy.” —California
Re: White ‘Oppressors’ Are Quietly Quitting
“Doomed indeed! It’s so sad to see what’s going on in our military. I just buried my son, a 30-plus-year vet who retired two weeks before we put him under. Burn pits got him. He had just gotten approved for the burn pit damages. He wasn’t in the pit or on duty at the pit, but he spent three tours on bases with them. So he got cancer. As for the woke in our once-great military, it makes me angry and sad. I no longer encourage young men and women to join. It guts me to have to tell them that this is not a good time, and it’s going to take a lot to change back to what’s been proven in battle to work. So don’t go in until it’s on the mend (if ever). Racism and gender-bending have no home in a serious military.” —Oregon
Re: Viral Debate Exposes Women’s Toxic Beliefs
“Hate to sound ‘old-fashioned,’ but manliness is no longer respected by many women. So many men feel belittled or superfluous! Modern ‘femininity’ seems stripped of its sweetness and has moved much closer to porn star behavior. Makes for a love-them-and-leave-them mentality on BOTH their parts. Immediate material gratification seems to rule the day. That’s a bad recipe for lasting, meaningful relationships.” —Pennsylvania
Re: Nuclear Odyssey
“I’m retired from a nuclear power plant in Arizona. It’s been a clean, reliable energy source. I certainly hope that with the present political climate, maybe the climate change folks will see the benefit of opening the Yucca Mountain and/or Savannah River site again. Might help decrease power production costs and provide long-term benefits to us all as consumers. The naysayers have had their way for too long. It’s time to get back on track and make our energy future bright again. Very glad i was involved.” —Arizona
Re: Caitlin Clark Takes a Knee
“I’ve said this before about Clark. Yes, she is a superstar, and yes, she deserves every accolade. But remember: She is still a kid!! And to paraphrase The Babylon Bee, maybe she’s tired of getting beaten up my giant black lesbians. Let her grow up. She will learn that one can never appease a bully. I know from experience.” —Tennessee
“I am a Hawkeye fan but am sorely disappointed that Caitlin had to take the low road and grovel to the bullies, which won’t satisfy them; she will still get hammered every chance they get.” —Illinois
Re: Donald Trump’s Win for the Ages
“You mentioned Nixon’s first humiliating defeat. He lost even earlier, to a woman for some minor post. I was driving down a freeway in LA during the whole Watergate business. I almost ran off the road when I saw a bumper sticker that said, ‘Don’t blame me. I voted for Helen Gahagan Douglas.’"—Nevada
"We can see from Biden’s actions that we need laws that prevent presidents from acting unilaterally and to keep them from sabotaging the incoming administration. Trump is walking into a mess left to him by Biden. Also, since Trump failed to prosecute Hillary Clinton, the Dems went wild. Many committed crimes against the state, propagated crimes against Trump and other conservatives, and now they know Trump will not prosecute them. If you don’t punish your child when they do wrong, they do worse. What makes anyone think politicians are any different?” —Nevada
Re: Another Last-Second Budget Deal
“The House needs to look up the word ‘budget.’ Stop kicking the can down the road and make the cuts necessary to show an effort to change the spending frenzy. We are a republic deeply in debt. Time to learn some fiscal responsibility. If you don’t bring home the pork, your constituents will understand if you explain it to them. Lead by example!” —Illinois
