“If California lost five members of Congress, it would also lose five electoral votes. And those votes could possibly go to red states. That really worries the Democrats.”

Re: The Demos’ Census Redistricting Strategy

“Additionally, a reallocation of Congress also means a reallocation of Electoral College votes. If California lost five members of Congress, it would also lose five electoral votes. And those votes could possibly go to red states. That really worries the Democrats.” —Washington

“Clearly, there has been an exodus of mostly right-thinking people from California and other blue states to red states. Retaking a census now will most assuredly expose that exodus.” —New York

“Let me offer a word of praise for Trump’s timing of commissioning a census while deportation efforts are ongoing. That indeed is inspired.” —Illinois

“As Alexander noted, the cost of healthcare, housing, education, etc. for illegal aliens is far greater than the benefit to certain economic sectors. Those funds could be used to support veterans. Enough is enough!” —California

“It amazes me how people can abide the cheating of the Democrat Party to get and maintain power, rob the Treasury, run roughshod over their own constituents, and enrich themselves. All while doing nothing constructive, only maintaining the status quo. They change the light bulbs while the wiring is being eaten by rats.” —Nevada

Re: Trump Says It’s Time for a New Census

“Those who are in the United States illegally have a lower status than visitors on a temporary visa, who are not counted in the census, so the illegals should not be included either. The problem will be determining whether a person is telling the truth about his status. The Democrats have a massive incentive to encourage illegals to lie to the Census Bureau, and illegals have no incentive except their conscience to tell the truth, and little to fear if they lie.” —Minnesota

“I can speak to this. Some weeks after we had done our census, census employees went door to door in our neighborhood asking if various houses in the neighborhood had been occupied on the census date. I said that the house across the street, now vacant, had been occupied by a Spanish-speaking couple with a baby and that they had moved out around the time of the census date, but before or after I could not say. I suggested they consult the landlord to find out if it was occupied on that date. But no — the census employee said he could write in 3 on his form, and his boss would be satisfied. Maybe we need red-state employees to come here to do the census.” —California

Re: What About Those ‘Trump Accounts’?

“The so-called ‘Trump Accounts’ are no less devious — and no less illegal — than the Social Security Act itself. This scheme/scam provides the most benefit to banks and investment and brokerage firms. And based on past behavior, Congress will find a way to pilfer such accounts. Why only babies born between 2025-2028? What happens to the money if an account holder dies before age 59-½? Can an account be inherited tax-free? Get in bed with the government, and you’ll get screwed.” —Kentucky

“Let’s give workers, certainly the younger and poorer ones, a chance to get in on early investment. Give them a credit of up to $4,000 annually against FICA taxes for contributions made to an account similar to the ‘Trump Account,’ with the proviso that the amount will be subtracted from earnings used to calculate Social Security benefits in retirement. If necessary, raise the FICA tax rate to at least keep the current revenue trend, and plan to reduce it as the need declines.” —Minnesota

Re: Clean Voter Rolls Terrify Democrats

“Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon, a Democrat, is refusing to provide voter registration records, ludicrously claiming concerns over privacy, even though the Department of Justice has strict privacy standards. Political parties can purchase voting records, including the party selection in presidential primaries, and the same name and address data are already held by the IRS and Social Security Administration — if the registration is legitimate. The Land of 10,000 Lakes smells very fishy.” —Minnesota

Re: The Status of the Navy: Part II

“No doubt we need a more capable shipbuilding industry. Industrial prostitution has moved our principal industries overseas in order to make a few bucks, and politicians piled on with overbearing regulations. Moral strength has disappeared, and it is now up to the remaining interested patriots to set the industry straight in order to preserve the nation. Not a good time to shrug off a problem.” —Washington

“Our current shipbuilding facilities cannot provide sufficient ships to counter the CCP! A solution: Have shipbuilding allies (Japan, South Korea, Spain, and Poland) construct the hulls to our designs and install the propulsion systems. Once the hulls are delivered to the Navy, the sensor, communications, and weapons systems can be installed. Construction of the hull and propulsion is the longest portion of the construction timetable.” —Texas

“The problem is politicians prostituting themselves for votes. The very best vote-buying schemes are promoting increased social spending at the expense of providing for the common defense as the Constitution dictates. The Dems always insist on parity between social spending and defense spending. That needs to change! Prior to our entry into WWII, the defense industry was already gearing up to provide war materials for Great Britain. Consequently, after we were attacked on December 7, 1941, war production went full bore, and we were able to rapidly rebuild our shattered Navy and gear up for a world war on a scale unprecedented in history.” —California
