“If such corruption in the federal government is highly pervasive, then it’s time for Congress to sunset entire agencies together with any titles that violate the Tenth Amendment.”

Re: The GOP Strategy for ObamaCare and the Shutdown

“The CR was only meant to cover about seven weeks of funding. What will happen then? It’s ridiculous that they don’t just pass the 12 appropriations now and have a real budget for the first time in decades. And by the way, if the Affordable Care Act is so affordable, then why are we having to subsidize it?” —Indiana

“ObamaCare is nothing but a bureaucratic nightmare. Unnecessary rules, regulations, directives, enforcement, and compliance. Get rid of third-party billing. Also, allow for insurance plans that fit people’s needs, not what the government wants.” —Wisconsin

Re: Biden’s Weaponized FEMA

“Having just passed the one-year anniversary of Helene here in Western North Carolina, I cannot help but ask: What was the real, untold damage caused by Biden’s FEMA here? For those who were truly hurting and continue to struggle, they deserve to know the truth!” —North Carolina

“If such corruption in the federal government is highly pervasive, then it’s time for Congress to sunset entire agencies together with any titles that violate the Tenth Amendment. The federal government is too overgrown to clean out the rot one twig at a time. The situation calls for a chainsaw, not just because of corruption, but because the government — having escaped enforcement of the Tenth Amendment for nearly a century — is too large for proper oversight by elected officials and far too expensive.” —Minnesota

Re: Left-Wing Radicalism: What’s Wrong With the Education System

“When you allow an outside agency (Department of Education) to take over responsibilities for the care and shaping of the minds of your children, you get not what you expect but what you earned. It’s like hiring a babysitter and never turning on the baby monitor. Stupid, stupid, stupid.” —Washington

“What if one of those commemorating Charlie Kirk had been a student of that teacher, or a parent of one of her students? What about those who might be assigned to her class next year? There would surely be an element of mistrust in the relationship they would have, and justifiably so. Such thoughtlessness does not inspire confidence in her judgment or ability to set a proper example of conduct as the teaching profession requires.” —Minnesota

Re: Policing Erika Kirk’s Grief Is Heartless and Hypocritical

“Thank you for expressing the thoughts that most humans have been thinking. Charlie Kirk’s assassination was beyond horrific. But the ugly responses to it, and about Erika and what her personal grief ‘should look like,’ is vile, disgusting, and inhuman. My thoughts and prayers remain with Erika and her two young children. God bless them.” —West Virginia

“I am a 78-year-old male and have been following Charlie for a long time. At my age, having been through Vietnam and losing many brothers with different mothers, I can only say I admire Erika more than any of my brave KIA brothers. The load she carries with bravery and grace makes me want to cry. Oh, just to have a portion of her strength! Samantha is right — no one has the right to be critical of Erika. How I miss Charlie!” —Connecticut

“I lost my 19-year-old son in a car crash. Then, 10 years later, I lost my husband of 38 years to cancer. I had to remain strong when our son died because my husband’s grief was so profound. It was not easy, and people kept saying how strong I was. But late at night, when my husband was asleep, I would always break down. If you have not been there, then you need to keep your opinions to yourself.” —South Carolina

Re: President Trump’s Smithsonian Review Will Save American History

“The revisionist history efforts have been ongoing at the Smithsonian for at least three decades. This became obvious to anyone who visited or attended its biased seminars. One of the most nefarious early examples was its attempt to demonize the U.S. as the villains and criminals for the use of the atomic bomb, while claiming the Japanese were hapless innocent victims and ignoring the horrible atrocities they committed during their occupations, as well as murders and mistreatments of prisoners. The review should start with a whole new management from the top down.” —California

Re: Making Extremists Through Marginalization

“Lest we forget, this is also the generation that spurns pornography, usury, and fraud; demands people be put before profit; respects Natural Law and traditional gender roles; and is returning in droves to the Church. They have been demonized and called every name in the book for their efforts. Abandoned by the world, they seek virtue, order, predictability, and a future for their children. Yes, they have lost faith in a representative republic that promises these things to everyone but them.” —California
