In March, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi predicted she’d take back the speaker’s gavel – because of ObamaCare. “I believe it’s a winner,” she said at the time. Oops. It didn’t turn out that way as the GOP took even more seats in the House to put the gavel further out of reach for Pelosi. The GOP also won the big prize – the Senate – with at least 52 seats, and that’s with Alaska and Virginia too close to call (though Democrat Mark Warner has claimed victory in Virginia), and Louisiana headed to a December runoff. One thing we do know is that 25 Democrats who voted for ObamaCare in the Senate found out (many the hard way) that if they liked their job, they couldn’t keep it](http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/25-senators-who-voted-for-obamacare-wont-be-part-of-new-senate/article/2555721). Pelosi acknowledged Tuesday, “It’s a difficult night.” That’s putting it mildly. We’ll have more through the day.
