Election Doesn't Deter Obama on Amnesty Move

Now with the elections over, Barack Obama can finally get around to granting that amnesty to all those immigrants, a move he promised to do sometime between now and Christmas. Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL), champion of mass amnesty, said of Obama’s amnesty move, “It’s going to be millions.” This is information he gleaned after talking to the White House. “The question is,” Gutiérrez said, “is it going to be a half a loaf or a full loaf? One of the things I’m encouraging the White House is to seek fairness and justice for every immigrant they can.” And the dismal election night for Democrats isn’t stopping the Obama train from going to amnesty-land. ABC’s Jonathan Karl said Obama will move forward on the policy, regardless of “how big a shellacking Democrats get tonight.” And it was a big one.
