Obama Trolls Republicans on Immigration
The specter of executive orders on immigration has been hanging over the nation for several months now. Republicans warned after the election that Barack Obama shouldn’t go too far. But he’s undeterred by that, or the fact House Republicans won’t take up Senate legislation matching Obama’s policy preferences. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said, “The president is disappointed that this legislative solution won’t be achieved, but the president is looking forward to taking executive action on his own, to solve as many of these problems as he can.” Earnest added that while Obama hasn’t decided exactly what to do (meaning he hasn’t decided to announce it yet), the president will “take every step he can.”
