Re: “Impeaching Biden Is the Right Thing to Do”

“The case for impeaching Mr. Biden and Mr. Mayorkas is much stronger than is stated here. It is not merely misfeasance, but malfeasance, given that the Biden administration has been providing chartered flights all over the country to people who have entered the United States illegally. This makes it easier for these foreign trespassers to evade arrest when they miss their court dates, and is therefore aiding and abetting them in the commission of a crime. This is one part of a pattern of encouraging the violation of our immigration laws. When there is such an egregious display of contempt for laws passed by Congress pursuant to the Constitution (see Article VI, paragraph 2), political considerations should be set aside to see justice done.” —Minnesota

“If Joe Biden’s obvious malfeasance in creating an immigration crisis on our southern border and throughout our nation is not enough to impeach him, his failed leadership as commander-in-chief in the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan is. His purported disregard of Defense Department leaders’ advice in deciding on immediate withdrawal from Afghanistan without proper planning and preparation resulted in the unnecessary loss of at least 13 U.S. military members and untold numbers of supporting Afghanistan military and civilian lives. Add the billions of dollars of sensitive, lethal military equipment recklessly abandoned and left to the Taliban, and the case for Biden’s glaring unfitness and removal from office becomes ironclad.” —Florida

“I think Mr. Hayward is delusional if he thinks impeaching Biden will make Democrats ‘change their behavior.’ Impeaching him will do nothing other than prove right those who said the impeachments of Trump merely set the stage for back-and-forth impeachments of future presidents. Moreover, because I believe there are at least a few sane GOP senators, Republicans would not vote in lockstep to convict him. It’s long past time for Congress to stop playing the hyper-partisan games of investigations and impeachments and focus more on doing its job. Passing meaningful and effective immigration reform legislation comes to mind.” —Tennessee

“It is past time for the American people to convoy against Big Tech and its obvious censorship of conservative voices. We, the People, are not dependent on Big Tech, but Big Tech is dependent on We, the People. Without our dollars, without our advertising, without our online businesses, these tyrannical platforms will be hindered in their abuses of our liberties. If we step away, their only opposition is their own left-leaning, cancel-culture selves. Simply put, they fold, they sink, they go belly up. We, the People, have the true power. It is time to take it back and put an end to their fascist views and attitudes of ‘rights for me but not for thee.’” —Arkansas

“We’re expected to believe that all whites are racists. We’re expected to believe that if criminal law is removed, crime will drop. We’re expected to believe that Joe Biden won the presidency while napping in his basement. We’re expected to believe that all blacks support BLM and naturally support BLM’s push to pervert school children with CRT and all manner of sexual deviancy. And we’re expected to believe that January 6 was an insurrection even though no protester shot anyone, neither before Ashli Babbitt was killed nor afterwards. The Left expects all of this, even for blacks. Given that, I’d say it’s a tiny and easy expectation to believe the Left is behind the HBCU bomb threats. Who else expects such a view of reality from everything fake?” —Illinois

“Abortion is a classic, unequivocal sign of the abuse of women. The abuse of women is a ubiquitous attribute of barbaric societies. Barbaric societies deny any self-evident truth of any equality of any people, prohibit unalienable rights endowed by our Creator, and exclusively respect rule by power. Today is the result of past days. We stand on the shoulders of history. Failure to learn the lessons of history condemns us to repeat them. Today, our responsibility is to either prohibit certain policies and condemn leaders ignorant of the lessons of human history, or 
condemn our progeny to repeat human history starting before society: at tribalism.” —Missouri

Re: “Vandy Study Pours Cold Water on Universal Pre-K”

“Pre-K children need supervised, unstructured time to freely explore mechanical toys and materials. I attribute much of my mechanical ability to being given such opportunities on a daily basis. Observing my mother at work in the kitchen and my father laboring in the yard or workshop taught me many everyday skills. The opportunity to ask them questions at any time was a valuable part of my early education. So was one-on-one reading and learning the alphabet from letter blocks and alphabet books. Perhaps we should rethink our culture of high taxes and government involvement in our daily lives. It’s far better to have one parent at home with the children instead of forcing both to be employed to pay for taxes, inflation, and debt interest.” —Minnesota

“My son is a dedicated teacher in the Headstart Program in our community. He is a long-haired, staunch conservative and an amazing teacher. One thing to consider outside of gauging future academic success of a child in the program is the value the program provides overall. Parents must be very poor, or the child must be in the foster system, to be allowed into the program. Often, my son is the only positive male role model that the child experiences in his or her life. The program allows these poor parents to work who otherwise might not have access to childcare. There is also a great deal of work the program does in parenting education and follow-up after the child ages out.” —Colorado
