Re: “Big Tech Cancels the Freedom Convoys

“Canada’s leftists have been taking away liberty for quite some time. Anyone who dares to suggest that gender dysphoria might not be absolutely wonderful can be arrested and jailed for hate speech. It is considered especially egregious to encourage a practicing homosexual to repent and be sanctified by the Spirit of God (I Corinthians 6:11). That is ‘conversion therapy,’ which has been declared felonious. Christians who assemble together for worship (Hebrews 10:24-25) face persecution — fines and imprisonment — for violating COVID-19 regulations, even if they are fully vaccinated, masked, and distanced. This is a warning for the United States. Our leftists envy the Canadian government. We should not envy the Canadian people.” —Minnesota

“Do these people who work for Big Tech, particularly the ones promoting and implementing the censorship, know where the things they enjoy and depend on come from and how they get to them? How do store shelves get stocked? How did the buildings they work in get built? How did the roads and bridges they drive on get constructed? How do the materials for these get delivered? They need large amounts of electricity and big data centers for their platforms to function.” —Texas

Re: “Impeaching Biden Is the Right Thing to Do

“Among the duties of the federal government has always been safekeeping the nation from invasion. That this was taken seriously is shown by the Wilson administration and Congress’s taking exception to the 1917 Zimmermann Telegram, wherein the Germans proposed an alliance with Mexico against the U.S., in which Mexico would get its ‘lost territories’ back, meaning the southwestern U.S. Biden’s virtual removal of border controls and promotion of illegal immigration amounts to a virtual implementation of Zimmerman’s scheme, and as such amounts to treason on Biden’s part — clearly an impeachable offense, if you can get enough Democrats to go along. And of course they will only go along if they can see a political advantage to it.” —Oregon

Re: “Don’t Watch One Minute of China’s Genocide Olympics

“I have been an Olympic Games fan for decades. I was honored to participate in the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games torch run as a support runner. I learned to ski at Squaw Valley (1960 Winter Games location) in 1957. I have gone cross country skiing at the Seefeld Austrian Olympic ski venue and hiked the Innsbruck Ski Jump facility. I have collected multiple souvenirs associated with the Olympic Games. But I refuse to watch the current ‘we embrace everyone’ effort in China. I refuse to purchase any items associated with the current event.” —South Carolina

Re: “The Problematic Political Promiscuity of the Press

“I think Stephen Miller gives too much credit to Zucker regarding President Trump’s candidacy and presidential victory. I’ve never watched ‘The Apprentice,’ nor have I ever chosen to watch CNN. The times it was forced upon me were when I was waiting to board a plane or waiting for my daughter to select books from the public library. Even at those times I did my best to ignore the lies. President Trump seems like a genuine and likable fellow who finally told Republican voters what they have been waiting to hear: America First. Secure the borders, drain The Swamp, cut government waste, and stop the infanticide of abortion.” —Ohio

Re: “In Brief: 10 COVID-19 ‘Truths’ That Weren’t True

“The Wuhan wet market theory was so ludicrous to begin with. Think of it seriously. Of all of China — with all the bat caves, with all the bats in all the wet markets — the outbreak started not in a market 25 miles from the laboratory that was testing gain-of-funtion experiments but just down the street. And our own bureaucrats are too stupid to think we were not capable of figuring two plus two. They must think we all graduated from Baltimore schools. Dr. Fauci should go to jail just for accepting a paycheck for the job he obviously knows so little about. We certainly have too many bureaucrats and not enough competent practitioners of common sense.” —Nevada

Re: “Jordan Peterson Leaves Authoritarian Academia

“I always wonder why we don’t give these leftist ideologues what they want. They should get a taste of what their life would be like in their society. Fire each and every one. You don’t have to be fair. They’re not. When we have math and English profs and teachers explaining to kids the ‘real’ politics or ethics of slavery, and how America was the only nation to ever have slaves (read Genesis), we need not look any further for a reason to boot them. Is it fair? By their own standards, it is. They are willing to boot anyone who doesn’t agree with them. We need to take back our schools. We need education, not indoctrination.” —Nevada

“As a professor, I teach predominantly graduate students. Yes, my ‘job’ is to impart knowledge on those who sit under my teaching. However, my students do not have to agree with me on subjective matters in order to pass or do well. If a student disagrees with me, the charge is to tell me where you believe I’m wrong, why, and give me a better option. Earning a PhD means you know a lot, but you only know a small sliver of all that is available to be known. If I expect academic honesty from my students, then I should be academically honest and, after being shown where I’m wrong, make changes myself. If I am unwilling to change when shown I’m wrong, then I am not teachable and don’t belong in the classroom. Taste is not the same as truth!” —Tennessee

Re: “The Real Problem With Hugh Hefner

“Once upon a time, women were respected and treated as ladies. Men used to stand up when they entered the room, open doors for them, tip their hats, and curb their language. When Hefner came along, all of that changed. If you weren’t a centerfold, you were not known. If you didn’t resemble a centerfold, you weren’t even noticed. In order to be noticed, women had to reinvent themselves into something that could be noticed if they didn’t look like Marylin Monroe or someone else who lacked enough self-respect to keep her clothes on. Suddenly, the notion of being a ‘lady’ was something to be looked down upon and despised. What society got in exchange for what we lost is a cheat. I don’t know about anyone else, but I miss ‘ladies.’” —Florida

Re: “Stopping Traffickers and Their Accomplices Act of 2022

“Planned Parenthood and other abortion mills have been required for years to report pregnancies of young adolescent girls that might be evidence of incest or statutory rape, yet have never been held accountable for their failure to do so. I seriously doubt that the Democrat Party will support any law that might blow back against its favorite industry.” —Georgia

Re: “Courage for the Things of His Kingdom

“‘There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear’ (1 John 4:18). If we wish to display courage, we must decide, now, to love. Before the circumstances challenge us, we must first know whom is love. We must let His love infuse, overwhelm, and recreate us. Courage, like love, is not a feeling. It is a decision, or really a thousand decisions made at the thousands of moments throughout our lives: to glorify Him or not. Others may see piety. He sees a warrior. Every major decision a man makes will be faulty until he gains a proper perspective of the whole world as God sees it. The most important thing to know about a man is what he thinks of God. All think about God. Be strong, be courageous. Wise men still seek Him.” —Missouri
