Re: “Biden’s Not-So-Bright Idea on Solar Power

“‘Getting to zero carbon by 2050 would require a land area equal to five South Dakotas.’ To which California and New York environmentalists likely respond, ‘Who cares? That’s flyover country.’ Wind and solar require large areas for production, but unless those wind and solar farms are relatively close to the end users, a great deal of the energy they produce is lost in the extended transmission lines. More compact nuclear and gas-powered plants can be placed near the cities they serve.” —Georgia

“Finally, we are getting some realistic data on the actual mass amount of land needed for the pipe dream that is wind and solar. They both have many applications, but the technology is not and will never be green. It’s not just the materials; it’s the gross amount of land needed just for solar. Blocking the sun from the ground makes the land uninhabitable for many living things. People must begin educating themselves on the latest nuclear power tech. It’s several generations from where the American minds are. Hydro and nuclear power are green.” —Oregon

“The entities steering the Biden administration have utterly failed to think through the consequences of their rush to ‘clean’ energy with perhaps even greater negative impacts on the planet’s environment. The coming power outages and inconveniences will not bode well for countless Americans who are already ‘sacrificing’ with extraordinary fuel costs and related inflation. Perhaps there is something to like here: a further decline in Biden’s approval and a recharged commonsense electorate voting its disapproval of our nation’s heading.” —Florida

“The funniest thing I have ever seen was the takeover of over 1,000 acres of farmland in NE Wisconsin near Lake Michigan for a solar farm that could not generate half the power of one of the nuclear units built in the late 1960s that was only one mile away from the solar farm. Just a stupid waste of arable land.” —Tennessee

Re: “It’s Open Season on Joe Biden

“I would certainly hope that if I were president that my wife would love me enough not to let me go out daily and make a complete fool of myself. I think it is sinful and elder abuse that his wife permits this just so she can prance around and be ‘first lady.’ I would rank her no kind of lady.” —Texas

Re: “Where Does Spygate Go From Here?

“So, where do those damaged and/or destroyed by all these bogus ‘investigations’ spun off by the Clinton campaign’s fabrications go to get their honor and assets back? Even those convicted of a crime should have their records expunged and receive compensation. All of it should be considered Fruit of the Poisonous Tree, meaning the people unlawfully caught up and damaged by it in any way have a right to justice and compensation plus civil damages. It’s going to take quite some time to work its way through the courts, and knowing DC, ‘justice’ may require appeals reaching the Supreme Court to rectify. No wonder Democrats want to pack the Court.” —Washington

Re: “The Rainbow Mafia Hates Kids

“In 2015, when some spineless Supreme Court justices decided to make gay ‘marriage’ the law of the land, RINOs celebrated what they felt would no longer be a lost cause for Republicans. Conservatives speculated about the next cultural sexual frontier. Many thought it would be multi-marriages. Others joked, ‘What’s next — you want to marry your dog?’ We were wrong — Bruce Jenner was already greasing the skids for the trans movement, and targeting kids was right around the corner.” —Texas

Re: “In Brief: Building on Masterpiece Cakeshop

“This is great news. It’s good to hear that more people are standing up for our faith and liberties. I’m grateful it was accepted and will be heard by SCOTUS. In Oregon, we’ve had a similar story that’s been playing out for more than a decade now. A baker near Portland refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay friend, and that friend sued. The last I read, she was trying to deal with the state of Oregon on the $130,000 fine the state levied against her. Maybe this case will help her too? It’s sad those under the rainbow flag don’t police their own and start treating others the way they want to be treated.” —Oregon
