Re: “The Demos’ Martha’s Vineyard Smokescreen

On September 11, 2001, 38 trans-Atlantic airliners carrying 6,500 passengers and crew were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland, population 11,000. The “common folk” of remote Gander fed, sheltered, and met the needs of their unexpected arrivals for five days. The “common folk” of Gander met their challenges with honor, decency, and human compassion. They “walked the walk.” On September 14, 2022, two chartered aircraft carrying 50 passengers and crew landed at Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, population 17,000. The “beautiful people” of Martha’s Vineyard, a self-declared “sanctuary destination,” cried foul and sent their migrants packing to a nearby military base. The wealthy, virtue-signaling islanders, when called upon to honor their public decree, flunked the test. —Minnesota

The residents of Martha’s Vineyard brag about having been “enriched” by the experience of briefly welcoming 50 illegal aliens to their woketopia. So it’s interesting to note that, despite having one of the highest per capita incomes in the nation, the liberal residents of the island actually set up a GoFundMe account to cover the meager expense of feeding and deporting the tiny group. —Georgia

Re: “The President’s Personal Attacks

The Democrats realized pandering to Hispanic immigrants, like blacks before them, would guarantee them unswerving support if they gave them instant citizenship, taxpayer-paid benefits, and mounds of other “free” stuff in return for their votes, just as long as they don’t move north. Especially to New England. —North Carolina

Re: “Three Million Illegals: Another Awful Biden Milestone

Sure, repeated exposure to stimulus produces apathy, and that apathy can destroy nations. Good point. But this is only when the stimulus can’t be stopped. Some of us might indeed be apathetic, but many of us are aggravated and are just waiting for the next election cycle. The aggravation comes from the fact that the Democrat-Deep State alliance currently controls most of the levers of power in America, which is precisely why crime occurs and goes unpunished. It’s also why government malfeasance is occurring in spades and nothing is done about it. Challenge them and they threaten you. Thus, justice is absent because their side seeks control and creates injustice to cover their corruption. —Illinois

Re: “‘The Pandemic Is Over’ and Other Biden Misadventures

The pandemic is over? News to me. If it is, why is Biden still masking up? If it is over, we shouldn’t have ANY election drop boxes in any state. We should have same-day voting and the votes should be tallied that night, not three weeks down the line. If the pandemic is over, why are schools still masking kids? Why are Patriots in our military still being fired for not taking the jab? If it is over, why can’t companies find workers, including mine? Why are the grocery shelves in my state still half-empty? Biden doesn’t know if it’s over. Heck, I don’t think he knew when it began. And he sure as heck doesn’t know what caused it or where it originated from because Democrats refuse to investigate anything not named Donald Trump. —Connecticut

Re: “Has Canada Lost Its Mind? And Are We Next?

Gender dysphoria is truly a mental illness. None of this is funny, especially with children involved. While the bulk of children aren’t gender dysphoric, prepubescent and pubescent children are in a state of developmental flux and thus are vulnerable to the advances and behaviors of any manner of person so inclined. Sure, this is bad for high schoolers, but it’s much worse for younger children. And don’t think it isn’t happening. We must fight against this to protect all children. —Illinois

Re: “Patagonia’s Socialist Billionaire Tax Evader

This represents some of the better arguments for tax simplification no matter what side of the political fence you are on. I would note that none of these fancy moves is available to the average taxpayer or even those who have achieved modest financial success. —Kentucky

The real story is that the government believes that it is entitled to such a huge chunk of a person’s efforts. Oh, and by the way, doesn’t Congress make those useful tax laws that serve this issue? —Washington

Re: “‘Insurrection’ Caused by Memes?

There was a time in this country when entrepreneurs risked their businesses on new things, and there were such things as winners and losers. This is yet another case of the federal government selecting what companies will be allowed to produce things and how much they’ll be allowed to make on their work. If anyone can cite for me an instance where this process has worked, I’d love to hear it. I’ll wait. —Virginia

Re: “Meta Execs Admit Coordinating With Team Biden

President Biden and the DNC make it clear: You do what we say, or else we will censor and/or destroy you. Those who voted for this evil man and despise the constitutional republic and its freedoms need to realize how much damage they are doing to all of us. —North Carolina

Re: “RCI: For Hillary, the FBI Helped Obstruct Its Own Investigation

It continues to astound me that the most hated politician (until Trump) to ever live, Richard Nixon, turned over all the Watergate tapes and was charged with obstruction in impeachment. To this day, they still concoct all sorts of things about the missing 18 ½ of tape for which Haldeman’s notes were provided. Shrew, with help from the FBI, destroyed all emails and got a complete pass. There were no whistleblowers to reveal the truth. Truth is, the FBI has always been corrupt. All other government agencies are also corrupt and nothing is done. —Minnesota

Re: “American History v. the Cancel Culture Mob

Here’s one of the major problems with how young people emerge from college now: In many cases, they have been taught what to think, not how to think. If they defy the leftist line and dare to argue with their profs or write essays to serious social/political questions that deviate from a “woke” or mostly progressive opinion, they suffer lower grades. They are punished for free thinking because it is at odds with the academic doctrine. This isn’t education, it’s indoctrination, and any professor worth his/her salt should stand against it. —New York

I think the Taliban showed us the value of destroying history. Nice job, morons. —Washington
