Reader Comments

Observations on the week’s analysis and commentary.

Editor’s Note: Thank you for sending comments on our news, policy, and opinion — we review every one of them. Here are a few reader perspectives, which don’t necessarily reflect those of The Patriot Post.

Re: Biden ‘Signals Are Basically Used as Currency’

“It is so ironic that Democrats and the mainstream media who accuse Republicans and a few supporting media of purveying misinformation are themselves the most flagrant purveyors of misinformation. Whatever happened to real, hard-hitting journalism that honorably served our nation with honest, objective, and factual information? Had real journalism prevailed, the damage being inflicted by the lying Biden administration on our nation may well have been prevented, or at least effectively mitigated.” —Florida

“I find it hard to believe our society is so blindly ignorant of the history of gangsters in our nation and worldwide. John Gotti never ordered any specific person murdered; he merely said things like ‘Wouldn’t it be a shame if anything happened to…’ and ‘He’s my very good friend. It would be too bad if something happened to him.’ Every capo in the Italian Mafia, Irish Mafia, Mexican Mafia, Russian Mafia, and others used the same obfuscatory language, and any lieutenant who didn’t get the message didn’t go any higher in the ‘business’ … if he was allowed to live in the first place.” —California

Re: NAACP Finally Gets Crime?

“It is good news that the Oakland NAACP has awakened, but the national NAACP hasn’t. That’s bad.” —Pennsylvania

Re: Bud Light’s Hard-Knocks Lesson

“Well, Mr. Mulvaney, this is America. If you want to play the part of a weirdo girly man, go right ahead. But just keep in mind, this is America, and the rest of us are equally free to intensely dislike your abominable schtick. Oh, and spare us the tears and flapdoodle. We’re still not impressed.” —Minnesota

Re: The End of an Era for Women’s Soccer?

“All of what Emmy wrote I agree with, and I avoided watching any of the USWNT games at this World Cup. The good news for Emmy and all others who are angry at the behavior of the team: They were out in the first knockout round against Sweden. The game was 0-0 through 120 minutes, and the USWNT lost on penalty kicks, with Megan Rapinoe, the leader of the left-wing push of the team, missing her shot from the penalty mark. Wonderful way for her to go out.” —Colorado

“I lay all of this at the feet of Rapinoe. Because of her, I have completely moved on from ALL women’s sports. And you have no idea of how much that hurts me.” —California

“No matter what they do to make female soccer more desirable, until they become patriotic and humble themselves, I won’t waste my money on them or the products they endorse.” —Arizona

Re: New York’s Gun Buster Busted

“Finally, someone has the guts to say it: Big-city violence is largely the result of the Democrats’ creation of a dependent black culture that mostly arises from fatherless homes. The kids are raised in a violent milieu and resort to various levels of fighting from an early age. Democrats won’t dare touch real solutions, as they are the third rail of leftist constituency dependence. It is another example of how ‘The Emperor has no clothes.’” —Pennsylvania

“Folks, you can’t make this stuff up! The inmates are actually now running the asylums, from New York City all the way to the West Coast. Every Democrat-run big city is just another cesspool of corruption and Satanic leanings. When will we finally stop voting into power these mentally sick Democrats? God help us!” —Missouri
