You will recall that in Joe Biden’s disgraceful departure last year, among his thousands of parting pardons, just minutes before Donald Trump took his oath of office, Biden extended preemptive pardons to his immediate family members — to the astonishment of many of his Leftmedia defenders.

A month earlier, Biden had already issued a get-out-of-jail-free card to his corrupt son, Hunter, despite repeatedly promising he would never do that because “no one is above the law.”

This exceeded even CNN leftist Jake Tapper’s tolerance for hypocrisy. He posted combined links to the Biden family pardons with a link to a 2020 CNN article just before Trump left office about Biden’s concern that Trump might issue preemptive pardons to family members (which he did not do). According to Biden then: “It concerns me in terms of what kind of precedent it sets and how the rest of the world looks [at] us as a nation of laws and justice. … You’re not going to see, uh, um, in our administration, that kind of approach to pardons.”

That was just another entry to the bottomless list of Biden lies over the course of his last 50 years.

Moreover, despite warnings from Demos not to issue preemptive pardons, Biden did just that for Anthony Fauci, GEN Mark Milley, and the J6 inquisitors, including witness-tampering former Rep. Liz Cheney.

Biden declared, “I believe in the rule of law, but these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing.”

However, Biden did not include on his preemptive list Trump’s arch nemesis: Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). She, along with Biden, VP Kamala Harris, and Sen. Chuck Schumer, have formed the front lines of the authoritarian enemies of Liberty over the last 10 years.

Despite her unmitigated corruption, nothing sticks to Pelosi.

As Nate Jackson noted in his coverage of Sen. Josh Hawley’s PELOSI Act (“Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments”), that measure attempted to severely restrict members of Congress from being able to, in effect, benefit from insider trading based on their ability to influence markets. Jackson wrote that Pelosi “has managed to parlay her $174,000 congressional salary into a personal fortune currently estimated at more than $260 million.”

Of that fortune, Trump declared: “Nancy Pelosi became rich by having inside information. She made a fortune with her husband. And I think that’s disgraceful.”

For her part, Pelosi laughably said of the PELOSI Act: “I very much support the [efforts to] stop the trading of members of Congress. Not that I think anybody is doing anything wrong. If legislation is advanced to help restore trust in government and ensure that those in power are held to the highest ethical standards, then I am proud to support it. … I welcome any serious effort to raise ethical standards in public service.” (ROFL!)

Those claims fall squarely into the BIG Lie category of Demo deceptions.

All said, now that Pelosi is, at long last, retiring, I am again proposing a parting gift — something much less ambitious than securities fraud, but a measure of vindication for Trump.

In 2020, you may recall that at the close of Trump’s State of the Union, Pelosi, in front of every member of Congress in a nationally televised event, ripped apart the official copy of Trump’s speech as presented to the Speaker.

At the time, we officially filed a complaint with the Honorable William Barr, United States Attorney General, and with the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Department of Justice:

At approximately 2220 hours on Tuesday, 04 February 2020, the nation witnessed clear and indisputable evidence that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Speaker of the House, committed an act which brazenly and feloniously violates federal law — specifically 18 U.S.C. 2071 and the Presidential Records Act of 1978. Rep. Pelosi willfully mutilated the official signed State of the Union transcript prepared by the Executive Branch for the Legislative Branch. Her actions were witnessed by federal law-enforcement officials in the House chamber. This was also witnessed by members of her political caucus, with whom she likely colluded in premeditation of the commission of this offense. I enter this video record as evidence for this criminal complaint that Rep. Pelosi violated both 18 U.S.C. 2071 and the Presidential Records Act of 1978.

For background:

According to 18 U.S.C. 2071: “Whoever, having the custody of any such record … willfully and unlawfully … mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit [his or her] office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.” An exposition on the Presidential Records Act of 1978 is detailed here.

During the President’s remarks, Rep. Pelosi put “starter” rips in the official transcript of the State of the Union, demonstrating premeditation in preparation for mutilating it at the conclusion of the speech. After the President completed his remarks, Rep. Pelosi committed an act that starkly demonstrated her cadre’s hatred of Mr. Trump and his grassroots American supporters, whom these partisans loathe.

At the conclusion of the President’s remarks, Rep. Pelosi took the official State of the Union transcript and, page by page, willfully mutilated that document. Rep. Pelosi maliciously obliterated what she called the “dirty” speech, later confessing: “I tore it up. I was trying to find one page with truth on it. I couldn’t. … It was necessary … to say this is not true. I felt very liberated last night.”

Notably, Rep. Pelosi’s offense also mutilates the names of those great Americans listed in the SOTU transcript, living and deceased, and of Americans in the gallery. In doing so, she libelously denigrated and defamed each of them personally by suggesting that there was no truth to their life stories as represented in that transcript.

After the fact, President Trump declared: “It’s an official document. You’re not allowed. It’s illegal what she did. She broke the law.”

According to the White House media director, “The speech [Pelosi] ripped up was a one-of-a-kind record, signed by the President of the United States. It belonged to the American people.” That assessment was affirmed by then-House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). Thus, this official signed transcript of the State of the Union speech qualifies as an official record under the Presidential Records Act of 1978.

Furthermore, House rules do not allow the Speaker to destroy the House’s records. However, House Democrats blocked a measure by Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX) to reprimand Rep. Pelosi for her conduct on a party-line vote of 224 to 193.

That 2020 complaint got no traction, as the Justice Department was still up to its elbows in Barack Obama’s minions and a myriad of legal challenges at the end of Trump’s first term.

However, we are officially refiling this complaint to the attention of The Honorable Pamela Bondi, United States Attorney General, and with the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Department of Justice.

In this filing we ask, “Is Pelosi above the law?”

The answer is, of course, yes. But this is no longer Joe Biden’s Justice Department!

At least if convicted, this would disqualify Pelosi for her massive pension.
