Re: Biden’s Deadly AFG Surrender and Retreat — Never Forget

“There were snippers in place with overwatch at the Kabul airport — one sought clearance to take down the terrorist who murdered our 13 American military members as well as others, but he was told to stand down. Who will be held responsible for that stand-down order?” —Alaska

“Since we now have a proven history of ‘abandonment’ of our allies, what kind of confidence do you think Taiwan has in our ‘full support’ of its efforts to remain independent from China? China knows it has nothing to fear from Joe Biden.” —New Jersey

“During the hunt for Osama, American sensors detected large amounts of copper/silver ore in the Afghan mountains. The Afghan people have not been able to mine the deposits profitably, but China would certainly covet those resources. Connect the dots between Biden’s bug-out, Hunter Biden’s corrupt connections to the ChiComs’ resource enterprises, China’s ‘Belt and Road’ program to build heavy transport connections throughout south-central Asia, and eventually the Chinese economic colonialism and exploitation in Afghanistan.” —Minnesota

“Never forget who surrendered to the terrorists in Afghanistan. Biden did not follow Trump’s conditions for the U.S. withdrawal, which was for the Taliban to agree and ‘promise’ to stop their terrorist activities. Who created the path for these terrorists to kill our military personnel and allies left behind? Never forget the ugliest surrender and retreat in USA history.” —Oregon

“I would add: ‘Next time you vote for a president, vote as if YOUR life depends on it.’ We are fast approaching some historic national security conflicts with China, and Russian expansion into NATO will follow.” —Colorado

Re: The State Hits the Fan

“I had to go back and re-read the savings to consumers: $39 over the lifespan of the fan. Say it lasts 10 years (good luck if anything built under Biden lasts 10 years). That would be a whopping $3.90 per year. Gosh, what to do with those savings! One lottery ticket maybe? Or a gallon of gas? The possibilities are endless. The head of any department under Biden could easily star in a sequel to ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.’” —West Virginia

Re: Biden Has a Nightmare

“Being a gifted liar seems to run in the veins of politicians. Biden is just one liar out of hundreds of self-serving, please-reelect-me-now politicians. Sad state of affairs for this republic. As long as we fail to properly supervise these people of questionable character, we will be fooled by their stories. Every election becomes a popularity contest rather than a job interview. One way to start cleaning things up is to do an entry financial audit and another audit each election cycle. At least we will learn who is a gifted investor and who is a thief. Want to bet who is the best thief?” —Washington

Re: AP News Is Bankrolled by the Left

“AP news permeates our only newspaper, The Arizona Daily Star. I refuse to read anything in it except for the comics and the crossword puzzle, although I noticed recently that there are references to left-leaning items from Lifestyle. The only reason this newspaper comes to our home is because my 101-year-old mother pays for it and reads it, but once she passes on, this will be the first subscription I cancel. The next one will be The Smithsonian, which has equally become tainted.” —Arizona

Re: Dems Make a Mess of Law Enforcement

“So-called conservatives failing to understand that everything the Left is doing is being done on purpose to make the system fail is just as dangerous as what the the Left has already done.” —Utah

Re: The GOP’s Climate Change Challenge

“If one troubles himself to read the Bible, we have already been told that such things will happen. It’s more than a little arrogant to imagine that we can stop what God has preordained. But then the Left thinks that all it has to do is mandate something and it will happen. Best thing the GOP can do is acknowledge what is happening and propose that we use our technology and resources to adapt to the changes. Humans have adapted to many changes in climate over the centuries. No reason we can’t do it now, even if it only means that we delay the inevitable.” —Pennsylvania

Re: Haley Made Some Noise

“Hearing the words ‘consensus’ or ‘stakeholders’ sets off bells and flashing lights. Living in Oregon for years seeing this process used, it might seem like an innocent and inclusive process. Not true in my experience. Usually it’s a group backed by dark money and unnamed ‘stakeholders’ doing a runaround to get around the voters. Haley will have to better explain whose consensus we’re talking about and who are the ‘stakeholders.’ When those words are used in Oregon, most conservatives will be made not welcome, and it always comes with a full-court press by the state to keep this kind of process off the ballots. So I’m not convinced and will have to have clear definitions from her about what those words mean and who the players actually are.” —Oregon

Re: Unpacking the Abortion Issue

“Any federal law regulating abortion is just Roe v. Wade Light. The abortion issue needs to be settled by each state. It make take several generations of state legislatures to get it right, all depending on who the citizens elect. Any state law or constitutional amendment can be repealed by the future will of the people through their legislators. Federalism dictates that this is, and always has been, a states’ rights issue. Any presidential candidate who can clearly articulate the dichotomy between federal power and states’ rights that is succinct and easily understood will win the day. Anything less is just kicking the can down the road.” —California

Re: Profiles of Valor: Maj. Joseph Jacob Foss, USMC, MoH

“I mourn as I read your profiles of Medal of Honor recipients amidst the ubiquitous cacophony of ‘woke’ news and culture. On the one hand, their acts of valor epitomize selfless courage and commitment to the noblest ideals of humanity as exemplified in our nation’s purpose to protect the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness endowed by our Creator. On the other hand, the current culture cadres shame honor, debase nobility, mock valor, corrupt integrity, distort truth, deny morality, promote perversion, encourage mutilation of children, distort science, and rewrite history. This war over the soul of man is destined to echo into eternity. Many thanks for this article on Maj. Joseph Jacob Foss, USMC, MoH. Americans must be reminded that our freedoms and present quality of life were bought with blood and guts by the many men and women who served in the wars from the time of General Washington up to Biden’s disgraceful retreat from Afghanistan. They deserve our eternal gratitude.” —Missouri
