Re: Another Trump Assassin Triggered by Hateful Political Rhetoric
“I suspect that Routh, who was unhinged about Putin’s Ukraine invasion, interpreted Harris’s assertions about Trump admiring tyrants to conflate Trump with Putin, and thus he thought he would be some kind of martyr for taking out Trump.” —California
“Alexander noted that Routh most recently voted in a Democrat primary … that vote was in North Carolina, yet Routh has resided in Hawaii since 2017. Two additional questions to ask about Routh: How can he afford to live in Hawaii, and where is he registered to vote?” —North Carolina
“Given that NBC talkinghead Lester Holt blames Trump and Vance for the latest assassination attempt, he must also blame blacks for slavery and Jews for the Holocaust.” —Minnesota
Re: Kamala Harris’s Fracking Lie
“The U.S. electorate had better take notice when Democrat socialist stalwart Bernie Sanders honestly describes Kamala Harris’s flip-flops as ‘trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election.’ And when Harris states that she is not abandoning her ideology, then it should be very clear to all that the end (winning the election) justifies the means (lying). The same goes for her recent less extreme views on immigration/border control, private health insurance, and inflation. The agenda of the Democrat Machine is the fundamental transformation of the U.S. to an authoritarian socialist state. November 5 is indeed a watershed day.” —Florida
Re: Kamala Denies Her Abortionist Streak
“Harris’s abortion lie glaringly demonstrates how little she knows about government and the Constitution. Neither Trump nor the Supreme Court can enact blanket laws for the whole nation. All laws except some clearly specified ones are left to the individual states, thus SCOTUS ruled to return abortion laws to them. You watch … same-sex marriage will be returned to the courts also. SCOTUS had no right to rule on that either.” —Pennsylvania
“Minnesota law is worse than the author states. Originally, state statute required providing medical care to every newborn. The Protecting Reproductive Options Act that Governor Walz signed deleted ‘medical’ from the statute. When asked what the statute meant as modified, the author said it could be ‘comfort care.’ What does that mean? Wrap the baby in a blanket while he perishes of medical neglect? Sedate him so the mother isn’t disturbed by his cries while he dies? Notice that there is nothing specifying abortion survivors in this statute; it applies to every infant. In Walz’s world, we have regressed to the days of abandoning unwanted babies, as the Romans did under paterfamilias. Today’s Democrat materfamilias is no less barbaric.” —Minnesota
Re: The Harris/Walz Ticket: A Perilous Threat to Liberty and National Security
“Young voters get caught up in the hype. They should consider this: Donald Trump has professed and has acted to stop ALL wars. Not so Biden-Harris. With Harris, we may see more Russia-Ukraine-type wars. YOUNG PEOPLE: Who will fight those wars?” —Nevada
Re: Harris: Lying Dog-Faced Pony Soldier 2.0
“Thank you for a great analysis of Harris’s lies. I keep wondering why the Democrat Party keeps putting lawyers up as candidates. Lawyers are trained to argue and lead people down the ‘rosy’ path. What we keep getting with Clinton, Biden, and now Harris are attorneys with no morals and the willingness to lie. Whatever it takes to get power.” —Wisconsin
Re: The Plight of Springfield, Ohio
“Admission into the United States was conditional until it became politically expedient to leverage their presence for monetary and political gain. Nothing noble or helpful about that. If you need a greater population in order to add a congressional representative, just add some immigrants, legal or otherwise. Find out who is doing that and you will be getting closer to the source of the problem.” —Washington
“Republicans need to constantly hammer the Democrats on ‘corporate income taxes’ by pointing out that corporations do not pay these taxes, as they are an expense in the production of their products or services passed to consumers. Furthermore, the increased costs of these goods hurt the poor the most because they have less disposable income to pay for any increased prices.” —Florida
“Garland’s self righteous comments about the DOJs’ integrity were clearly a lie, but only if viewed retrospectively and in reference to events such as January 6 prosecutions, lawfare against pro-lifers, Catholics, angry parents at school board meetings, and of course Donald Trump. On second thought, it occurs to me that Garland is reassuring the Left that all 115,000 DOJ employees (a.k.a the Deep State) are committed to obstructing any attempts by a reelected Trump administration, or a Republican-controlled Congress, to rehabilitate a tragically compromised institution. We can only hope that there are still a few DOJ employees committed to a nation of laws, as protected by the Constitution.” —New Mexico
“‘NYC embraces reparations’ — this sounds like another one of those boneheaded ideas Reagan spoke of that are so absurd only an egghead college professor would conceive of it. Before we speak of reparations, what of the thousands of Irish who were treated more harshly in the 18th and 19th centuries, essentially white slaves ‘owned’ by a master, North and South, who controlled their lives? Many were hired to do jobs too dangerous for risking the lives of more valuable African slaves. I do not support reparations for either, as slavery is over and no one today should be penalized for anything they did not do.” —North Carolina
Re: In Brief: Tucker Carlson’s History Lessons
“While I enjoyed Tucker on Fox News most of the time, he definitely became very full of himself as he became more popular. The same went for Bill O'Reilly. Both seemed to get more elitist and thought they knew better than us. I still like some of what O'Reilly writes and I enjoy his books. However, Tucker has lost me, as he seems over the top with his choices in people he interviews and some of his own comments.” —Alaska
Re: Profiles of Valor: LCDR Dan Crenshaw (USN)
“Thank you, Dan Crenshaw, for your courage, service, and sacrifice. And good on NBC and Pete Davidson for having the moral courage to admit when they were wrong, man up, invite Crenshaw onto the show, and apologize to him face to face!” —Arizona
