Re: “The Democrats Are Tough on Crime?”
“I would only add that there was an increase in crime in President Trump’s term — a Democrat-inspired crime wave, with President Obama admitting he was violating the Constitution, and with Democrats encouraging open physical hostility to those who don’t share their views; releasing violent criminals from prisons; making excuses for the MS-13 movement; refusing to condemn antifa/BLM violence; undermining law enforcement agencies; and refusing to prosecute minor crimes — generally seen as a deterrent to more serious criminal activity. Nearly every iota of this crime wave can and should be laid at the feet of the Democrat Party and its officeholders at every level of government — and the media. It is as if chaos is their goal.” —Pennsylvania
“James Carville misspoke. He meant to say, ‘The modern Democratic Party is flat-out better at crime than Republicans.’” —California
Re: “Stop Lowering Your American Flag”
“I remember growing up and getting excoriated at elementary school because I let the American flag touch the ground when it was taken down at the end of the school day. After that, U.S. flag etiquette got drilled into my head, and in later years into my heart. The American flag is the universal representation of this great country and a symbol of all that we stand for. To see it at half-staff for victims of everyday crime means that our flag should fly at half-staff every day, 365 days a year, as all of their lives matter equally. I mean no disrespect to the victims of crime, as their lives do matter, but to keep the flag at half-staff would be a national disgrace because it places this country symbolically in a kneeling position.” —Connecticut
Re: “Biden’s ATF Nominee Wants to Ban AR-15s”
“I noticed no one asked for, nor did Mr. Chipman offer, a plan for getting AR-15s, or any other firearm, out of the hands of the criminals who commit 100% of the crimes in this country. I’ve asked everyone I’ve talked to who suggested banning guns would somehow reduce crime and get blanks stares.” —Michigan
Re: “Texas Dems Walk Out on Voter Integrity”
“The Democrat Party’s continuous protest, obstruction, opposition, mocking, and obfuscation regarding any investigation into 2020 election irregularities or any voting integrity reform laws brings to mind this famous line: ‘The lady doth protest too much.’ In other words, we should be suspicious of those who use far more words than needed to express an opposing perspective. Many words, especially repeated over and over, louder and louder, faster and faster, is a brainwashing tactic. The Democrat Party is attempting to brainwash its low-information voters, especially those who have voted Democrat for generations.” —Missouri
Re: “‘60 Minutes’ of ‘Transgender’ Regret”
“The prefix ‘trans’ means going from one place to another. A ‘transgender’ does not* ‘go to’ a different gender — it merely covers up its own gender. It becomes, what would more correctly be called, a ‘pseudo-gender.’ Don’t get me wrong — it doesn’t make them any less of a person, but they certainly aren’t ‘trans’ anything. And, in my opinion, any parent or counselor who tries to pseudo- or gay-up a child before the age of majority should go to jail.” —Tennessee
Re: “In Brief: The Soul of Black Conservatism”
“Dr. Sowell was once asked how it was that he gave up his socialist views he had in his late twenties. He simply replied, ‘Facts.’ I first heard of him when he appeared as a guest of Neil Cavuto on Fox News around 2004. After hearing him for a minute or two, I was hooked on him. I’ve read 17 of his books. I recommend them all, but especially Black Rednecks and White Liberals, as it explains so much of society.” —Minnesota
