Re: “We’re Not in Kansas Anymore”
“Having lived in Kansas now for 40+ years, we’re not as ‘red’ as one might imagine, routinely electing a Democrat governor. By a margin of roughly 2 to 1, advertising was clearly on the liberal side of the advertising campaign, meaning a lot of money was poured into our state by the Left. The amendment was indeed poorly written and shouldn’t have been in a primary election in the first place but rather the general election in November. Add in the Left’s constant drumbeat that this amendment was going to ban abortion — although clearly false — and it had to have been a huge contributor, given the poorly worded amendment and a lot of low-information voters.” —Kansas
Re: “Don’t Depend on Dictators”
“Biden wants us to go down the same path that allowed Putin to castrate NATO. After decades of their own ‘Green New Deal’ policies, Germany and all of Europe are totally dependent on Russian gas and oil and will freeze without it. So while Biden says our sanctions on Russia will bankrupt Putin, the truth is that we have sent $54 billion to Ukraine while Europe is funding Putin by buying billions of dollars of Russian gas and oil. What insanity! Biden is actually bankrupting us as well by shutting down energy.” —Georgia
Re: “The Democrat-Run FBI”
“In the upper right-hand corner of the FBI organization chart is the office of Congressional Correspondence. There needs to be a shakeup there, transferring out the top leadership and incompetent obstructionists to other agencies. In other words, get rid of the stonewallers. And the IG needs to periodically review the operation to ensure that congressional requests for documents and information are honored in a timely fashion.” —California
Re: “Democrat Murder Capitals”
“You might think that when a mayor defunds the police and savages them verbally — and the murder rate logically rises — the mayor would be punished for his/her being responsible. Aren’t these deaths caused by their ridiculous pandering to wokeness? Being woke only seems to make people stupider — something any non-woke person easily sees. Wokeness is really subservience to idiocy.” —New York
Re: “Leftists for Discrimination in College”
“The effects of reverse discrimination go far beyond accepting less qualified applicants into prestigious schools. Programs that favor minorities are applied to every age and cohort, multiplying the compounding effects. The favored enjoy funds, tutors, mentors, accolades, and opportunities along every step of the way. The unfavored are handicapped with less training, less experience, less accolades, discredits, and condemnations and compete alone against favored minorities, legal discriminatory policies, and natural challenges. Our decadent elite decree we celebrate this devolution in professional standards. Its insidious and inevitable destiny is an irretrievable loss of our standard of living.” —Missouri
“The ACLU proclaims, ‘All students deserve equitable access to higher education.’ Beware the bogus word ‘equitable.’ Whatever happened to ‘equal access’? When leftists use the word ‘equitable,’ they never ever mean ‘equal.’ Equitable merely means ‘equal outcomes, obtained via unequal treatment.’ We should demand the ACLU use the term ‘equal access.’ It never will.” —Virginia
Re: “Not Ashamed!”
“Kudos to you, sir, on a great article. Outspoken and straight to the point, I enjoyed reading it and could not agree more. I am a country boy, cowboy, inactive Marine (hate the term ‘former’), and, most of all, a God-fearing Christian. I am presently hospitalized, three months now, and have had the displeasure of television. I haven’t had cable in over 10 years, and what I am seeing on TV is both frightening and sickening at best. I have long been aware of what’s taking place in the world through my own eyes, but apparently was ignorant as to the degree of evil taking place.” —Arizona
