Re: Media Message: Election Results Could Take a While

“I’m a little confused. Some of us are old enough to remember the voting machines where you had to move a lever to cast your vote. The polls closed at 9 p.m. and we had results by 11 or 12. Then we were told those machines were too antiquated and had to be replaced by computerized ballot scanners. So a computer apparently doesn’t have the ability to give an instant tally. Thank God for high tech.” —New York

“If Trump has a Republican Congress, the first thing he should get passed is a ‘National Election Bylaws Act’ — early voting for four weeks before a national election, no mail-in votes, and polls close at 8. That’s it. We want a winner declared the evening of the election or early the next morning. State elections can have unique requirements but not national ones.” —Illinois

“I strongly believe that if some enterprising researchers performed a complete audit of the mail-in ballots in the three states that cost President Trump the 2020 election, they would find that there were enough fraudulent ballots to have concluded that Trump’s claim that the election was stolen was true.” —California

Re: Kamala Tries to Break Up Marriages

“Besides the implicit attack on marital unity, the ad was disrespectful to both men and women in its stereotypes. The man was portrayed as a dull bumpkin, and the woman came across as a shallow, impulsive person who would change an important decision on the basis of a smile. Wise voters choose candidates not for what’s on the lower end of the torso or for the pretty face; they vote for what’s behind the face. They look for wisdom, integrity, intelligence, and respect for liberty.” —Minnesota

Re: Dems Smear Trump for Cheney ‘Warhawk’ Comments

“Trump is right. I remember when Congress was holding hearings in 1966 on the atrocities in Vietnam. One story was of a 19-year-old L Cpl. Marine who was court-martialed for shooting a Vietnamese woman who was reaching into a pile of straw where weapons were known to be hidden. The day before, his best friend in platoon hobbled back to camp holding where his shoulder used to be and with an eye hanging out of its socket. He’d been on twice the number of search-and-destroy missions. The sanctimonious ‘holier than thou’ members of Congress sitting there in their ivory tower were passing judgment on him. I had zero respect for Congress after that.” —Minnesota

Re: A Jew, a Black Woman, and a Hindu Went to a ‘Nazi’ Rally

“You know, the thing that I find sort of mind-blowing is that the Nazi rally they showed footage of from the 1930s was filled with Democrats. Most of the American Nazis were Democrats, not Republicans. So they showed video of a bunch of Democrats giving the Nazi salute and screaming, ‘Heil Hitler.’ Kind of stupid. Furthermore, the Democrats of today are not far removed from those Democrats who were praising Hitler then.” —Kentucky

Re: Go the Distance

“Great article, and I completely agree. I just do not know where these Christian warrior brothers are. They are not at church and I cannot find them in the neighborhood. And how much genuine fellowship can you really have with an online group?” —Wisconsin

“Christian life is not a self-improvement program; it is sanctification by the Holy Spirit. When we encourage one another, our message is not a mere ‘We can do it!’ but rather, ‘We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.’ Hebrews 20:24-25 tells us to assemble, exhort, and ‘consider one another … to stir up love and good works.’ We love one another because we love Christ who first loved us (I John 4:19) and He commands us so (John 13:34). Therefore, we serve each other and follow Him.” —Minnesota
