Re: Trump Day 2: Restore Freedom of Speech
“After reading Alexander’s columns, ”Trump Day 1: Demolish the Demos’ Rigged Election Strategy“ and "Trump Day 2: Restore Freedom of Speech,” I think I understand how he prioritized these — restoring integrity to our elections by requiring voter identification is critical. But I am not sure which of these needs to be done Day 1. I agree that short of making both of these issue his highest priority, everything else Trump does will be just as quickly undone. Fair election and free speech are the most fundamental foundations of a free society.“ —Pennsylvania
"If Trump does not prioritize the restoration of election integrity and free speech, neither of which has he said much about in this election cycle, then all else is lost.” —California
“I think Elon Musk should have been put in charge of the Department of Free Speech Protection as he has put more on the line defending the First Amendment than anyone in decades. Trump and Congress seem oblivious to the suppression of conservative speech on these big media platforms, and at great peril to the future of freedom!” —New York
“Ensure ID requirements for voters, and restore free speech – and the next election WILL be a landslide. We are fortunate that the Democrat ticket was so lame and we now have an opportunity to correct these core issues.” —Washington
Re: The Biden (Read: Trump) Ceasefire
“Trump needs to rework and reincorporate something like the Abraham Accords, perhaps including Israeli military inspection of every property in Gaza and anywhere else terrorists are suspected of being, with the caveat that homes will be left in better condition than they entered in if nothing is found. I’m not particularly in favor of the USA being the world’s policeman, but if we don’t, who? Russia? China? It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it, and why not a country where people are rushing into, rather than ones people are rushing to get out of.” —California
Re: American Youth Ain’t Happy
“One more reason contributing to this is that Gen Z is set up to be poorer than their parents. Why? Housing prices have skyrocketed, and the backbone traditionally of building wealth is through home ownership. When the American dream is robbed of young people, they become unhappy because they will be poorer than former generations. Let’s not forget that though we’re free, those freedoms and benefits our parents and grandparents enjoyed are being eroded by government policies and corruption among government officials over time.” —Georgia
Re: RCI: Illegal Migrants Less Likely to Commit Crime? Guess Again.
“With what ICE faces, it’s time to consider a ‘Reward’ program. Any illegal immigrant with no criminal record in the US or native country would be eligible. Their reward? Placement in a program with Permanent Residency and a path to citizenship. Participants would earn ‘points’ for reporting any law-breaking illegal and scaled to the severity of their crime. Points are also awarded for identifying members of gangs. All points would be awarded upon successful deportation and/or imprisonment of those they identify. People who have more interest in being a good ‘citizen’ than that of turning in the criminals among them would, I think, be welcomed.” —New York
Re: How Democrats Rigged a Few House Seats
“Democrats lost this election not because of improper voting districts or foolish spending and asinine advertising. They lost it because they put up an incompetent, delusional fool. They lost it because they have demonstrated an inability to lead our Country and restore our position in world affairs. The last time the Democrats had good, intelligent leadership was the Truman administration. They have shamed his legacy.” —Georgia
Re: Celebrities Who Don’t Live in Reality Accuse Middle America of Not Living in Reality
“I would like to know how Baldwin and Stone got to Italy, commercial or private plane? You can yell at me all you want about climate ignorance, but I don’t fly a private jet, and I make an effort not to be wasteful. Where did all the plastic in our oceans come from? I try not to use any more plastic containers than I absolutely have to, and I reuse as many as I can. I see most celebrities as naive and ignorant. Interesting to note that the vast population of the United States does not watch ‘news’ media, and I doubt many watch the movie industry when it preaches either.” —Wisconsin
“Alec Baldwin and Sharon Stone are a couple of 66-year-old adolescents who are ignorant about American history and culture and living outside of their Hollywood mansion bubbles. I have traveled extensively to 5 countries while in military service and 25 countries on my own. Before I travel, I do some research on the countries I’m visiting so I know something about their history and culture. As noted, neither one answered the questions; both segued to their respective talking points.” —California
“I’m old enough to remember when it was shocking that celebs first began spouting off about politics at the Oscars and recall my dad commenting that no one cared about the opinion of people who get paid to play dress-up for a living. I’ve always remembered that, especially over the last several elections when Hollywood seemed to think Americans were in dire need of actors telling them how to vote and what to think. Actually, most Americans don’t give a crap what they say and would just be happy to have a decent movie or TV show to watch now and then. If they can’t manage that since it’s supposed to be their profession, they should give up and shut up.” —Pennsylvania
Re: What Happens to Racial Tribalism?
“All I can say is ‘Thank you, Jesus!’ A person of color, whatever the color, should be judged by who they are, not the color of their skin. Merit is the best way to go. You will not only get someone who is able but confident in their skills. It does not matter what the skills are: plumber, builder, doctor, bingo caller, or rodeo clown; there is NO shame in a career some think is low level as long as you do your best, my example is my sister, she has been a waitress all her life and is very happy doing that job, me, I was a nursing assistant and loved it, but my sister would never do that job, we all have our gifts and talents, let’s use when God gave us and be happy” —Oregon
Re: Biden Pardons His Son, the Turkey
“We had to know that ‘The Big Guy’ was going to pardon his Crackhead Son. The Biden Criminal Family protects their theft and illegal dealings while they can. Then, when Joe is indicted on his multiple LLCs and illegal taking of money, they’ll claim he’s unfit to stand trial! Cunning all along. If only we could snag a few more bad players (Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, Soros), that would be a huge win!” —Illinois
Re: Leftists Scramble to Explain Biden’s Pardon
“This is just another blow to the Democrat Party. Just another of the many lies they have told the American people. I hope they keep it up. Let them bury themselves in a hole that they will never get out of.” —Illinois
