Re: Supreme Court Strikes Down Trump’s Tariffs

“Well, it appears that we have no more use for the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which I assume was an Act ratified by Congress. But what we do need is a Congress, working in conjunction with the president, to legislate appropriately during times of emergency to correct conditions that arise, as it is supposed to do. Instead, we have a bunch of good ole boys and girls sitting back and carping about things not getting done. There is an alternative, of course: How about a constitutional amendment repealing Article III?” —Nevada

“Bluntly stated, the Supreme Court exceeded its authority. In the beginning, the government was funded by tariffs, and it ran that way for 150 years until someone decided to abuse the people and U.S. businesses instead. As stated, Congress has always supported and authorized the president to impose tariffs. The liberal environment today still wants to abuse the people and attack the president. The Supreme Court has no authority over tariffs, and they break no law, as the dissenters note. The president should appeal this ridiculous decision.” —Washington

Re: A Putrid Potomac Problem

“Just another consequence of the election of an incompetent basement dweller. We have socialist teachers and school administrators, Muslim politicians (who cannot assimilate with our culture) at every level of public office, and tens of millions of illegal immigrants sucking up our taxpayer-funded benefits that are meant for the citizens who worked for them. Democrats are protecting foreign-born murderers, thieves, and other felons. DEI hires hold positions that should be staffed by the best of the best.” —California

“This affects more than the Potomac River. The river drains into Chesapeake Bay, an important commercial and tourist fishery long known for its sensitivity to pollution. Yet we have nobody issuing guidance on how this might affect the safety of seafood products from the bay. Congress has the ultimate oversight over DC management, according to the Constitution. The relevant committees should not only ask how this happened, but how Congress missed the word on the deteriorating sewage pipeline.” —Minnesota

Re: Hillary Clinton Stands by Her Man Again

“This is par for the course for Hillary Clinton. Her opening up a women’s rights campaign with a sadistic misogynistic mansplaining to us about how we need to include him in women’s bathrooms, sports, and locker rooms is exactly what you would expect from a woman who destroyed the lives of hundreds of young women because her husband was a misogynist that took advantage of his authority over them when he was president. Disgusting.” —Colorado

Re: Zuckerberg Dodges and Weaves in Liability Case

“The argument that Facebook is marketed to adults because teenagers have ‘limited’ purchasing power probably won’t impress people familiar with tobacco and alcohol advertising that proved attractive to children. In the case of social media platforms, think about how ads for autos might influence a 15-year-old dreaming of his first car, or how clothing or cosmetic ads might affect girls. The teens are when parents allow expanded choices and sometimes purchase those for their maturing children.” —Minnesota

Re: CAP’s Foolish Plan to Cap Grocery Prices

“Everything CAP is suggesting will reduce the availability of the items that they want to cap prices on and drive up the prices of other goods. Nothing was learned from FDR’s price controls that helped extend the Great Depression.” —Tennessee

“CAP’s plan is the fastest way to empty grocery shelves. The Democrats always assume problems that don’t exist or that they created, which their solutions don’t address or make worse.” —Tennessee

Re: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s Unsatisfactory Arrest

“I think there is a third (and more likely) reason for the arrest of Andrew: distraction. The British have what I consider an obsessive fascination with their royalty. Currently, they also have serious issues with the government. By making a high-profile issue about someone in royalty, the government hopes to distract attention from the current messy political situation. That is more of a sacrifice than a scapegoat.” —Pennsylvania

Re: Will the Gender Cult Implode?

“In addition to the points defended in this column, there is plenty of evidence that the gender transition drugs contribute to their mental instability. And SSRI drugs are also highly associated with many mass killings. Dr. Julian Whitaker (Dartmouth and Emory trained) blames nearly all instances of mass assaults on SSRIs.” —South Carolina

“This article is right on point. The walls are collapsing on this most harmful and vile subculture. It has ever-decreasing support, and the fact that Democrat women are in the forefront of trying to justify this abomination is ample evidence of how deranged they have now become.” —Arizona
