Re: “Biden’s Big COVID Pivot Coming”
“Biden now insists, after his massive failure to ‘shut down the virus,’ that the deadly pandemic needs to be handled at the state level. But apparently, at the same time, Biden believe that our voting system needs to be unconstitutionally yanked from the states and federalized.” —Missouri
Re: “SCOTUS Ends Mandate for U.S. Businesses”
“Many healthcare workers are employed by private companies. Few of them are public employees. Many who work for healthcare organizations have no direct contact with patients or direct caregivers. It makes no sense to punish one facet of employment. I was required to wear an N95 mask and goggles even though I work alone in a hospital power plant where temperatures exceed 100 degrees until I succumbed to the mandate, which was against the advice of my doctors. The mask and goggles made my job extremely unsafe as well as uncomfortable. The mandate was achieved by bullying, intimidation, and humiliation so that many of us finally gave in and took the shots. That includes people working remotely from home.” —Arkansas
“The Biden presidency seems entirely un-American, with the foggy quasi-dictator fumbling at the helm — somehow falsely thinking his election was a clear mandate to embrace progressive edicts. This is a great moment for the three branches of government and the separation of powers, even if they are all populated by aspiring socialists.” —New York
Re: “Sedition Isn’t Insurrection”
“‘Insurrection? Sedition? If so, what are we to make of the 574 riots that took place during the late spring and early summer of 2020?’ To say nothing of the so-called ‘autonomous zones’ established by antifa ne'er-do-wells in Seattle and Portland, which specifically (and violently) denied government authority over areas of those cities. Apparently, just as riots in the name of liberal causes are not really riots, actual and intentional sedition and insurrection, even if proudly proclaimed as such by the perpetrators, are not crimes if committed by leftists.” —Georgia
“Further proof of the Biden’s administration’s disgustingly punitive effort to muffle dissenting voices with the trumped-up charge of sedition — just like the Cuban regime charging dissidents from the July 11, 2021, demonstrations with sedition for expressing their discontent with the Cuban regime.” —California
Re: “Friday Short Cuts”
“‘You’re not going to convince at least most normal and sane people that our government last year was almost overthrown by a guy wearing a Viking hat and speedos’ (Senator Marco Rubio). The constitutional republic should be more afraid of the 79-year-old guy from Delaware wearing $3,000 suits with a dumb look on his face while reading a teleprompter seated in a phony oval office and not answering questions than of the single example given above.” —North Carolina
Re: “Woke Administrators Seeking Woke Teachers”
“Every teacher or administrator who claims to be ‘woke’ should be fired. The garbage handed out by the teachers unions should be trashed. We lost good teachers when the unions took over. And when the government sticks its hand in the mix, things go to hell. Teachers used to care about their students. And as far as diversity goes, Emmy Griffin put it right when she said: ‘The beauty of teaching about different cultures is that it allows space for each child to tell his or her story and experience other stories. It is meant to broaden kids’ understanding of each other and create unity. When they are limited to the boxes in which CRT puts them, assigning labels like ‘privilege’ or ‘victim’ (implying goodness and badness) diminishes these children.‘” —Arizona
Re: “Inflation Hasn’t Been This High in 40 Years”
“Simply because most people are never introduced to normal economic theories, the idea that inflation is bad is lost on them. When important consumer items were removed from the inflation indicators, it turned inflation into a political farce rather than a true indication of an economy. Public education is failing America. It is turning America into an education-deprived society. Education needs to be returned to the states and the Department of Education should be eliminated entirely.” —California
Re: “More Guns = More Self-Defense”
“Good people with guns do not meet the narrative of the Left. It is no surprise you only hear these stories from pro-2nd Amendment sources. And the Left will do almost anything to suppress a self-defense story. It would rather blast all of the crime associated with bad people who already do not follow laws and live off of welfare and drugs. 'See what guns do? This senseless crime could have been prevented.’ Yeah, it would have been prevented if the fist time a criminal did something they were punished so badly that they would never even think of trying it again. But let’s open the border and let a bunch of possible criminals into our country to fatten up the welfare base and Democrat Party because all it cares about is VOTES.” —Illinois
“With the anarchy brought onto innocent citizens by failed Democrat policies, most homeowners and parents must feel obligated to obtain a firearm and proper training in order to protect their homes and families. Shades of the Old West, to be sure, but we don’t live in ‘Mayberry USA’ anymore.” —Pennsylvania
